As far as I'm concerned, he's just doing his job: identifying issues. By that logic, it almost sounds like people would rather not have Draymond pointing that out, but in that case, he wouldn't be doing a proper job as an analyst. So now he has this one flaw as a player, and because of it, he also has this other flaw as an analyst (since he shouldn't point out a mistake he also used to make as a player or he becomes a hypocrite for it). How exactly is that the better scenario?
As an analyst, your job is to critique, and a former player will have flaws. Does that mean former players can't be analysts then? Or they can, but only in some occurrences? Was Charles a hypocrite for saying that you should NEVER hit a fan, even though he ended up in JAIL _four times_ for doing so?
Where do you draw the line? I say the line is drawn off the court, and we shouldn't mix the two different positions as being one and the same, because they're not. That's why you have great analysts who were mediocre players and vice versa, the same applies to coaching.

Mavericks missed crucial free throws down the stretch plagued them in the end. They were also turning the ball over and stopped playing defense

Amazing that this is not the first comment out of the Inside the NBA crew. 52% FT took away all the Dallas Defensive efforts. OKC played a scrappy 4th and Doncic with his inflated triple double…was horrible tonight (shut up and just play!)…complaining and losing focus…his shooting was way off and he kept taking bad shots….7 TOs…missed clutch FTs. SGA escaped this game with being the better player. Dallas lost this one. Oh and one major coaching error for me…subbing out too early when Dallas was rolling. That first Dallas team chemistry needed to push the score up to a 20+ margin. The 2 player sub in took away that momentum and it never was the same again. Kidd should have let it roll until it calmed down.
Ps…it was not just crucial free throws…it was shooting 52% FTs. OKC won this with 38% FGs…they did not play much better. This was a defensive game and offense can be the forfeiture of tough D. Gotta make your FTs.

PJ 7/19 and Luka 6/20 with the team at 52% FT% and still almost getting the W, that's very promising. This could go both ways very easily.
