@TakingU2Skool Thanks, the larger one was done well before the one I made in the vid, caught a lot of shrimp in that one, obviously the bugs go straight through the holes. I'm not sure if the larger predators are attracted to the bugs the trap catches or the light itself.
Do you find the light to be more effective than baiting? I'll be making a few different trap styles for minnows/crayfish... might have to toss a light into the trial. (If you can't decide on "just one", make one of each and call it a "trial" or "research".;)
very nice idea never would of thought of it lol was thinking of getting a small container ( have few here ) that are completely sealed.. and just throw it in the trap ? it would want to float though :/ unless weigh down the trap. but thats getting more complicated? haha nice work though :)
Yep mate will work well, the first one I made was just that. I sealed the LED in a pen body before figuring fibre optic would be quicker and easier.
