I remember hearing about this band losing all their instruments and having them replaced. A big issue was the drummer couldn’t simply replace his old artstar kit so it’s awesome seeing him finally have one again to fit the tribute, while also having one that looks far closer to Lars’s. Amazing stuff!
Yes, you're correct. Metallica replaced and donated all of the gear from a previous tour. I asked the lead singer (Jared) what's is like to play James Hetfields guitar every day....he said "surreal".. I believe that!!!

And their version of Am I Evil? is killer, of course; Diamond Head re-recorded a new version of it themselves in 2020, I'm betting you know, it's awesome too (heavier than their first version).

Yep, they use to play the full songs (for instance they play the bridge in the "The 4 horsemen", while Metallica almost never does).
