For the ones confused why she misses, she's running, screaming, panacking and most of all, she has to absolutely NOT HIT the chest or the heart will get damaged

In addition, if it were real life it'd be pretty hard to hit those shots just by running alone. There'd be no way she would hit anything just by running.

Hell, knowing Takina, if she couldn't rip Shinji's heart out, she would probably be willing to give her own heart to Chisato.
I really like how Takina becomes so determined to give up her DA position just to save Chisato.
Takina, a cold killing machine before having her world and views broadened by Chisato, was willing to be a cold killing machine again if it mean't saving her best friend.
There is so much squeal potential for this anime and I really hope it gets something.
Genuinely one of the best anime of the year.

This scene was my absolute favorite in the entire series. I repeated this scene so many times when it aired I legit lost count. The direction, the music, the characters, and best of all, the voice acting. Seriously, props to the VAs for their amazing performance, especially for this scene because you can feel how much Chisato and Takina really mean to each other
I love how Takina is so angry and hateful that she doesnt even see Yoshimatsu as anything more than a walking heart for Chisato
I think it's safe to say these two characters have stolen all of OUR hearts by now 😊

One of my favorite scenes from this anime. A-1 pictures did a great job expressing the character's emotions and struggles. The VAs really breathed a lot of life into them too. 0:36 gives me chills every time as Takina desperately fires her empty gun hoping for a non-existent bullet to save Chisato's heart.
Takina's popularity soared after this episode. Takina's favourites on MAL for instance just passed Chisato when previously she was 500 behind
I only had Chisato in my favorites before but I instantly added Takina after this scene xD

The last two episodes of the show were amazing it nailed the animation and voice acting.

Takina isn't a yandere, she's just frighteningly loyal. Chisato changed Takina's life, so Takina got attached to Chisato, and didn't want to lose her.

It's implied that it was that nurse's blood because if you look closely that woman has a wound on her shoulder and is bleeding meanwhile after this scene on the helicopter takina has no bandages on her head (meaning she wasn't wounded).

She was under stress and was extremely upset, frustrated and angry. Concentration will not be great in that situation, especially during shooting.

As far i got the end Teach ripped out shinos spare hearth and gave it to chisato while she was still unconcious so she didnt have a say.
Chisato got the heart. I believe Mika ripped the artificial heart out of Shinji after killing him and according to Kurumi a surgeon was prepared for heart transplant.

Glad I found some replies for this comment. That ending was so swift it was hard to understand how they wrapped it up while saving her when killing that dude was not what chisato wanted.
@@huuuuuumpy Chisato does not know that Shinji was killed so she can have the heart. She believes that Shinji gave the heart to Mika which was still in the briefcase. In reality Mika Killed Shinji for the heart, removed the message on the birthday card to keep Chisato in the dark about her surviving due to Shinji dying. Which she was against Takina doing, so Mika did it in the shadows.
Never watched the anime, can someone tell me why the blonde one is stopping the dark haired one?
I recommend watching the anime since the full context is complicated but this is the gist: Blonde girl has a failing artificial heart and the guy has a working artificial heart. Dark-haired girl is willing to rip the heart out of the guy if it means saving her blonde friend but her friend is against killing.

Am I the only one who was disappointed with the last few episodes? I felt like they had a great story to convey, but it was cut and rushed to fit into 12 episodes. This story needed more episodes to develop…

Not really a plot hole, if you pull the trigger with too much force (and we can safely assume she pulls it as hard as she can, considering her rage-fuelled state), the gun moves off target, and she's only missing them by a couple off milimeters, so to me it makes sense
Shooting while running, physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted, injured, half blind in the right eye, and actually a fair distance away. I can see her missing every shot.
