- 11.6.2006,letisko Sliac, Letecky sportovy klub Zvolen v spolupraci s firmou Aeroslovakia s.r.o. na zaver leteckych dni SAF 2006 prekonal svetovy rekord v pocte vlecenych vetronou. Motorove lietadlo Z-137t utiahlo spolu 9 vetronov typu L-13 Blanik sucastne.

Man I would think the tow plane must have one monster engine with a 13,000 foot runway ;-) And the dander of the gliders getting entangled in the tow line???

Once on tow the tension on the line will often be less than 70kg.
With my Discus C its 30kg.

Probably not as much as one might think, though there are many planes they are very light pretty slim.
