Watch along as I put together a great-looking and upgradable 1440p gaming PC in the Hyte Y40 Snow White Edition case. With a Ryzen 7 7800X3d and RTX 4080, this machine will be able to deliver great performance in today's top games.Thank you for watching! - Věda a technologie
Been obsessed with white PC’s recently, definitely want one or build one. Thanks for this!
Great to see you man, fantastic video!
That's an awesome pc build, thanks for the video Sean! I went with nvidia also for my build, but in my case I needed CUDA for some applications I use at work.
nice video man, watched the whole thing. I enjoyed it. I'm thinking about getting the 4080 super when it drops along with pairing it with the 7800X3D
I am copying this exact build and the parts are arriving in 4 days
Nice build. This is one of the cases I consider when building for my friend. One thing, though, why didn't you go with Gigabyte Aero motherboard to match your video card? You would have just one software to control all the RGB. Also, did you use the included controller with your Lian Li fans or used adapters to connect straight to the motherboard? Wonder if mobo can control the extra RGB on the fans correctly? I noticed that with the Lian Li software there is an option to pass through the RPM control and RGB as well. Did you try this?
I thought about it but the Aero b650 was backordered until December where I was ordering from, I also had a z690 Aero DDR4 on an older build and it was kind of flaky on memory overclocking so I figured I would try something different. I have the fans hooked up to the controller that came with the AIO. I thought about running it to the motherboard, but I figured I would have more control over the lighting effects on the infinity fans doing it this way vs from Armory crate.
Nice straight forward video. In cyberpunk on both settings there is horrible stutter (as seen when passing the second pillar with the newspapers) in both tests you did. Only way ive found to combat them is setting a frame limit (i use rtss) slightly below whatever you benchmark at. Try that after some testing and witness what smooth really is.
Also the artifacts are obvious to me in the second cyberpunk benchmark. I hate that im so sensitive to these things 😢
Thanks got watching! When I’m actually gaming and not benchmarking, I usually set a custom frame cap in RTSS because it’s typically smoother than in-game limiters. I like to use the per-game profiles so that I don’t have to mess with it all the time once I get them set up.
@@TechWithSean oh nice! I didn't know you could do that.
Solid build you got there ... yup and that 4080 should last for at least 3 or maybe 4 years. Altho I prefer to water cool the GPU not the CPU but hey this is my personal preference, yeah cool build. 🥶🤓
4080 runs extremally cool even at 4k uncapped fps it rarely gets above 60c
Nice, i was thinking about buying y60 but i dont like how they use a slightly dark smoke glass panel on it……. So im gonna choose y40 instead
Why do you build the two fans to blow the air outwards and not inwards? It doesn't matter, fresh air has to come in and out on the side and out of cooler...
The two fans on the side do blow inwards, they are the reverse airflow model.
Nice one man, how much was the total cost of this setup?
do you think there is enough room to fit a aero 4090?
Yes, i think that it uses the same cooler as the 4080
@@TechWithSeanalso makes me nervous about the metal back plate needing to be clipped. There was no way around that?
@@aidansedore5182 Same issue here, wanting to fit a 4090 aero inside... Have you found the answer?
I just got a new rtx 4090! ..I am now poor. 😁
