I had a section I cut out explaining how people project since it was redundant but to be clear, they're selling to their alts during projections not to players. Example: A player's friend or alt buys a cheap item for billions inflating the item or pet's RAP. The gems spent for the projection are given back to the player minus the 1% tax, so it's win/win for those projecting (manipulating.)

They need to provide 2 numbers on rap. A 24 hr value and a 7 day average or 14 day average. It would be expose inflators and also show trend

Another problem for some people is vision problems or playing on mobile, I cannot see the price of certain items and sometimes I overpay because I can’t really hover over items well and cannot see the point in between items.
This happened on the weekend too with the knife cat it went from 2.4million to 1 billion and I tried to see if I can trade for it to see what happens but they wanted huges or at least 100million diamonds
Thank you for bringing awareness to this. I had a huge that went from 100m to 1.5b and I was right, it’s not actually worth all that. I’ve seen some other people trying to take advantage of the price increase even though they may not have caused it just cause they happen to own the pet.

Yeah i was a victim of that before last month. The item that was projected was a rainbow hoverboard which had a rap of 500m (projected rap) i thought it was rare so i traded my huge dog for it and little did i knew i got scammed lol. Days later I traded for a huge dog and got one back. Just be careful guys and think twice.
I was also a victim. I had 2 huge computers, and the Tech Hoverboard had 400m RAP at the time. I happened to show the Pet Sim 99 discord server the trade, and if they thought it was worth. They said no, but I did not listen since I thought they were trolling, and it was rare. A day later, it decreased to 13m RAP, and overtime continued decreasing.
This happened to me when i traded for a huge grinch cat. At least i only lost 20m value

It’s not really a scam. The person buying should know an exclusive with 20k+ exist should be 2b. Let alone having 2b and not knowing value at that point would be kind of unrealistic

Omg I called someone out on this the other day. Selling a 85% with rap of 300m lol. Put it in auction for 17m and sold it. Prickly one so makes sense. It's very very annoying and people abuse it so much. Absolutely thanks for pointing this out. Hopefully some won't fall for this as much now. Much respect from FallenHeroReborn
I would say take precaution when trading. I always keep trades simple and only trade amongst friends. Otherwise I'll put the item up to sell at a booth.

I have been scammed with this before. I was offered 9B in huges for my titanic monkey and I took it. Later found out most huges were bugged. I was devastated but I later offered the same stuff for a tiedye dragon (titanic) and I made 1 billion

I hatethe rap system in general just keep at a price until like 3 hours and then change the price or some times like dv said they take a day to change keep it like that or make it to where they can't go past a the normal cost like a banana it's worth like 71 gems so they can't go 30% over the normal price
Nope that prevents regular inflation and rap updates are already about 3 hours apart
For me the best way to solve this problem is for the devs to be more in control of the price setting . Have the devs have a set price that they believe is fair for each item and whatever that price is, we can only go over it but a certain amount like 5 million (for certain items). I have the gold whale and its getting annoying to see this either drop way below its value or like right now. Go way over value at 2 billion .
Wrong. That is called controlling the market and would ruin everything. Developers arent competent enough to set the values themselves nor do they know what to price each item. Inflation and deflation would cease to exist. What you placed as an example is your fault for buying that huge, that isnt projected rap its just regular demand dropping haha

I got a golden huge bat with inflated rap of 259 and got it for 140m put a royalty charm on it and traded it for a 404 demon and plague dragon I felt so bad but I couldn’t take that L like that 😅 today it’s worth like 100 maybe I hate these rap manipulators

I'm scammed when somebody show huge shiny Empyrean Agony in the booth 456m but the worth for it was 486m. She even said she can lower the price. I said 440m. She agreed then she put a normal huge Empyrean Agony 440m. But the worth for the normal Emprean Dragon 99.9m.
I write this just hope you all beware from these scammer.
Huge happy computer was 22ml, it is projected by inflation. This game would not be fun if you can't manipulate prices and people decisions. This is a good in game experience that you can correlate to real life.

I just got scammed , but with other method , so a guy traded me and wanted to offer for a huge with 800m value or so , I put my 2 huges that’s 150m value (that’s all I have) I accepted and then he somehow ( I think he used scripts ) he changed the huge instantly with almost the same huge ( golden ) and then he accepted and the huge is worth 92m value , well now I don’t know what to do , maybe do a video of what to do if you got scammed, or do a video of how to flip a huge much easier .
