Alexander Leonard hence the real chauvinism! Women get rode hard for dating younger men. Men are expected to cheat and also sleep with younger women. It’s not only normalized but embraced as some rite of passage for middle aged men. The article he’s referring to is likely an attempt to bring things back into balance. You never hear anything about Bruce Willis being with younger women for example. However when Demi Moore did it it was gross! Then her then husband cheats on him with several younger women, they get a divorce, and he remarried someone in his age range. She’s now marked as untouchable. Bruce hasn’t had those problems and won’t have those problems . Just one example.
Alexander Leonard another bullshit excuse! Men wouldn’t use preventative measures to ensure that their female partners don’t get pregnant if that’s the case. The vast majority of men are having sex for enjoyment not procreation. Procreation just happens to be a byproduct of their enjoyment. For those that are in committed relationships where they want to procreate that’s a different story. Men aren’t inquiring about a woman’s fertility as a means of determining if they should have sex with her. All persons fertility declines with age- men’s sperm looses their integrity and begins to deteriorate over time. However, even those who are infertile are still viable sex partners for men. The double standard is a result of sexism and chauvinism. Men are given passes for dating young and women are viewed as lewd or disgusting. Men are viewed as being sexually attractive with age, even though they’re no longer physically attractive because of the same double standard. From a procreation/biological standpoint they are no longer a top pick(see low testosterone).

Define "normal". Did you miss the part about alcoholism & drug abuse in this 6 minute clip??? What he didn't mention is his illegal sex tape with a 16 yr old girl at the Democratic National Convention in 1988. Props for turning his life around but make no mistake, his uber fame, money & earning potential got him out of all that trouble at the time. I dunno about you but I wouldn't want to be that "normal".
where does it go? At his age of uncertainty? At any age during earths time! Is he wise enough to know or even care? Who is he Spiritually? All knee will bow, ALL! Rob Lowe is one of the very few good people in Hollywood. I used to work in the "industry" as they call it. It is rare to come across a legit good person in that town. Lowe is one of them. I can count on one hand the amount of good people in Hollywood... it is very rare. Wahlberg and Chris Pratt are also good ones. The sad thing is that a lot of the good ones end up dying early. I think part of it is because they are so conflicted about being in such a sleazy industry that they turn to drugs. For example, Brad Renfro. He was a very genuine good person with a good heart. I always felt really bad for him because you could tell he just wanted normal friends and a normal life but was already too engrossed into the scene. About a month before he died he asked me and my friends if we wanted to hang out. I know it was because we were not part of that crowd and he just wanted to be around normal people for a change.
Until this episode, I knew nothing about Rob Lowe outside of his acting. What an engaging dude. I couldn't believe they just met each other, they sounded like old friends.

Rob's a big Indy Colts fan. He's around here sometimes. It's almost more like talking to a guy you've known forever than a "famous person". He's, obviously, really down to Earth and makes time for everyone. He's a good dude.
People are just people. Just different personalities that shine brighter. It is just looks, performance, personality. We are no different, we are a product of our surroundings. Just little ones from the time we heard from the womb. We are also tied to our cellular memory that produces a being that is a DNA computer that is built, nothing more or less. Some are influenced by other beings and they are gifted by other spirits that have split from God. Don't take the bait.
When you are flat broke and literally starving or homeless money is important. But the difference between like $40k a year and a millionaire really isn’t much.
Also, they never said anything about money being pointless. They said fame. The two are not the same. Plenty of famous people have no money and vice versa.
@@horrorstateofmind2724 Not true. But being a victim is a circumstance. Not a mentality. People are allowed to feel defensive or whatever if they choose. No shame in having a moment. Victim shaming is also not okay. IMO. @@jame1398 Well that and he has the blood from 3 children in a weekly ritual/dialysis/Satan worshipping/celebrity spa treatment that is all the rage in Hollywood at the moment. Who needs coke when your blood is brimming with 7 year child enzymes and hormones. Jokes aside...yeah i agree. I think Rob Lowe is that rare Hollywood celebrity who actually has a sense of inner peace because he has faced himself in hard times and found true strength when he needed it. Most celebs are far too fragile for real personal growth.
@@abdihassan7208 I think it's more that it would be ridiculous of Rob Lowe to expect that anyone would believe that a teenager with no pre-existing moral code like religion etc... could or would become an A-list celebrity in 80's Hollywood without having extensive knowledge of cocaine. He would've tried it at the very least and would have been surrounded by it and its use by almost every single person he encountered. Cocaine is a helluva drug and the 80's were a helluva decade. Los Angeles/California and Hollywood (the entertainment industry not the rat infested neighborhood) literally ran on cocaine. Lowe is just being perfectly frank and down to earth with Rogan. This is what an interview with equals looks like rather than the usual fawning journalist who unlike Rogan can't get over their "omg its really Rob Lowe moment". Its why Rogan is such a great interviewer. People are relaxed and they are having a real world conversation with someone as opposed the the usual press junket. So they don't treat Joe like a schmuck and he likewise treats them as a real live human being with real lives, thoughts. emotions and relationships. Something which never happens in press junket interviews. Maybe i'm cynical but i kind've assume most people have tried drugs of some description... its why drug laws need to be re-addressed. There exists better ways for societies all over the world to deal with these very real human issues. Ethnobotanical research will show with zero exceptions that all human societies have indulged in drug use as far back as science can get us....all of which makes me think it highly likely Rob Lowe has experienced cocaine. If not himself then a large chunk of people he knew in the 80's were flying high. Frying high? Cocaines a helluva drug.

Walken and Pinchot seem like nice people , Gillian Anderson too.....not saying theyre saints but still
Wahlberg robbed and stabbed a vietnamese guy out but he's a good person eh?

But being a victim is a circumstance. Not a mentality. People are allowed to feel defensive or whatever if they choose. No shame in having a moment. Victim shaming is also not okay. IMO. @@jimofaotearoa3636 has Rob lowe done coke? Why is he admitting it?
