to get the jake break sounds do i need an actual shifter ??
Not at all. The Shifter adds to the emersion but you can program the Jake brake to any button you want. Either using a controller/steering wheel/or key board.
Go into the setting and look for either Jake brak or engine braking key Bind and program what ever button you choose.
It works with bas game without mods however it won't have a loud sound without sound mods
whats the 389 chassis mod?
No mod for the chassis. Several mods for everything else tho. There's an accessories mod, wheels and tires mod, paint scheme mod, engine & Trans mod.
I do have some old trucks moved but after using a chassis mod for the kenworth w900 several months ago, it went bad and corrupted some of my files so I'm cautious what chassis mods I use now
