It feels like he's a little bit shy and it makes him hotter.
I like the way he always avoids personal questions and manages to give away just the piece of information he wants to. He does it really in such a masterly manner. He does not want to speak about his parent, but I think he made them very proud.
anyone else noticed that he keeps playing with his hands throughout the interview? he's really a shy, adorable man :)
I am picturing Thorin skiing right now. Majestic.
He has a classic handsomeness, which makes him perfect for the role of a noble King! And he's an amazing actor.
*****
Yes, I know! :) It's like he was just meant to do this character...
*****
For sure, I would like to see more roles like this! By the way, which interview was that? Can you give me a link or something to go by...? :)
he's way too adorable, my poor heart
Richard is still too adorable! Despite his menacing but very handsome looks, he has this gentleness and humble aura radiating around him!
Lovely to see him in an interview--its been a while! Richard is super private so it doesn't surprised he didn't say anything specific about his father. Nevertheless he answered very gracefully.
I love those eyes, the way he puts his head down and look up!!!
That's one of the things that he nailed in the movies too! Being a dwarf and yet still managing to look up and eyeball elves and men 😂
My favorite thing about Thorin, his size made him look up a lot!!!
RICHAAAAAAAAARD!!! He's so cute, sweet, sexy... His voice is simply the nicest thing ever. 😍❤️
Great interview. I love that Richard didn't take the bait about talking about his father lol it all came back to Thorin. :)
Richard's awesome, I wish he got as much recognition as he deserves
How long does a dwarf live? I wonder if he'll be in the Amazon Series? Although I don't have Amazon. 😂
The King of evading answers to questions about his family! I have to laugh.
He gives the best interviews! I love to listen to him talk! He is so the opposite of Thorin in so many ways that you realize what a great actor this guy is! But yet it's almost like he was born to play this roll! It fits him so well! I am going to miss my dwarves soooo much after it all ends! Of course some more than others (Thorin, Fili, Bofur, and Kili, my hottie)!
It was so funny when she asks the question "So he is very weighed down by his history" And before she can continue hes just like "And his costume" haha
Richard is such a perfect man
Ah! I'm so happy to see him in an interview again! Oh how he looks so beautiful! And yes, It's smart how he sorta dodged that awkward personal question by answering it on his own terms-not saying anything specific on his father but relating it to a general thing and always relating the question back to his character. His dedication and smart, graceful ways never seize to impress me amongst all his other amazing qualities and beauties!
As much as i love Benedict Cumberbatch, i'm fare more exciting to see Richard in the movie or in interviews. He's just an amazing actor :) i wish people were more concern about him than Benedict which just play a dragon...
Agree! So much agreed!
Rocky Revolt Aaaah thanks! :)
I wouldn't say Just thoug. Smaug is an iconic character. And he also plays the necromancer. But al of that aside. All characters are played wonderfully by their actors and therefore I support every single one of them. Love to all of the cast! and everyone else who worked on the movies as well!
I want to see Thorin skiing! XD
look at his hands when he thouht about his father, how nervous and uncomfortable, and he slow down like hes trying to think of a way to avoid. but when he took to thorin then he became much more smooth... he really don't want to talk'bout himself.
Woooww... He looks so different in real life!!!
I love this interview! Richard Armitage is so great!
I like how he diverts the questions about this real dad back to Thorin. ;)
god, i love this man ever since North and south, and was super excited when he got the role in Hobbit which is a huge project...and yes, it is a shame he gets just a tiny bit of attention, and it is surprising because he practicaly plays the main character (besides Bilbo, i'd say), and not many fans are interested in him nearly as much as in idk, Benedict, Orlando,Martin or Evangeline. but that's probably partly because he really is a private person, and not one of those to show around, goof of, being funny all the time and stuff. amazing actor :D
I just returned from cinema (my second time for Hobbit 2) and was thinking the same thing. He is perfect in this role! I couldnt imagine Thorin being portrayed in better (or different) way. But I guess you could say this about all cast members and thats also huge part of why people like these movies so much (LOTR including) - because they are excelently casted.
I lover every single actor including him. :) ALL of them make this movie happen and they will always have my thanks for that. That includes all the actors of all the dwarves and not only the 3 ''sexy'' ones. :P And all the elves and all the humans and everyone else yay spread the love for the whole cast!
Richard Armitage is so awesome.
wonderful wonderful man ...so adorable and so nice and gentlemanly ...just ...love him💟
she's a good interviewer, i like her.
The bloody nail picking! It drives me mad! Love how it starts with the question about his father. "Dangerous territory," haha.
But it doesn't start with the question about his dad, that's near the end. What are you talking about?
Ahhh such a dulcet voice. Lee Pace's too
Can this man stop being so damn cute :3
He is way hot as the dwarf king
Fucking Legend, spectacular in Battle of Five Armies.
Best interview ever!
great interviewer!
I would have loved to see Richard ski down the mountain as Thorin
Very nice interview! Well, he's certainly a handsome fella. It's silly, but I miss Thorin's hair!
Same!
Gorgeous
Great interview. Random slightly unrelated note: is the smoke on the backdrop behind richard actually moving?
Good interview! :)
oh my goooood isn't he WONDERFUL! I LOVE him, he is so- DAMN!
At the same time, he could have been really superficial or silly about the father question and just said, "my height..." blah, blah. But we gotcha, Richard! ;) I'm going to start diverting questions myself!
Einfach der BESTE Schauspieler...
He is beautiful
Can I just marry him already?
Nobody draw Thorin skiing on the Lonely Mountain yet???
LOL, Dwarf skis
onedayautumn , yes same wit me,
is *Jackson Is Really like*
Love Richard dislike Thorin, so great actor because I can totaly see a different person when he puts on the beard....well little beard but beard none the less. Great job Richard and may you always stay private. Privacy is importand so good on you for holding onto it^^
Richard can be a good Ulfric Stormcloak if they ever did a skyrim movie.
Ummm he's so hot
I don't think the interviewer knows the definition of the word "ornery."
everything want behind the scene galadriel
Lee Pace's voice...yummy

I m sorry can't comprehend his spesking because fadter for me
Everyone's different, and so am I, though I may seem completely different and akward to so many people here. But the truth is I have my opinions and feelings here and there. Maybe someday, I may change my mind and like Richard Armitage for several things and reasons, or maybe if I'm still down or a little upset with him for the same or different certain things and don't change much or change yet, I'll try my best to eventually forget it and him or move on. When I have a strong feeling or thought about something, especially about Richard, I let it out when I want and choose to, so someday if and when I want to, I can let it go, instead of holding it all back and continuing forever on seemingly to be mad about it. My comments are no intention to pull any fans away from him, but of my intention to express my feelings if I want to. Anyone who has or does respond back to me like they hate me for my opinions as if I were trying to hurt their feelings and assumes that I mean to talk like I've been abused when I really never mentioned being abused at all, are mean people who seem to hate me with total misunderstanding and assumption, and I think it's getting to be time that I need to stop responding back and letting those people get to me too easily, cause they obviously will never understand what I mean and that I can eventually come around. All those people who hate me are cruel, sudden-minded, stupid, terrible, and also negative people. Although, if I met Richard in person, I think I'll try to be nice to him, cause now I'd admit, I don't dislike him for every single thing. I'll try to not be so mean to him like I said I would do, except, if he were to upset me, I'll probably resist as much as I can and walk away.
What the fuck are you talking about?!
@Kayta Montanez, Everyone, including you are entitled to your own opinion. Don't let the haters get to you. I liked him in the movies, never met him in person. Peace!
Lol how many interviews has Richard done before this?? He’s tired
In the beginning, I thought that maybe I'd be impressed by Richard Armitage when I saw him in The Hobbit, because I didn't know him much, and saw how he looked. Before, honestly I thought he looked good. But after seeing some things on how he is, especially his other movies he's been in, I don't think I find myself as impressed as I used to be. If anything, I'm disappointed now. I guess after all that his appearance turned out to be the only thing about him that somehow seemed to impress me, and I'll definitely try to move on from my past, whether I'm impressed or not.
Have you ever seen the movie "Misery"?
I've mentioned my thoughts and feelings on another video and might write some more cause I was too afraid to admit it in the past and am still feeling and thinking a little that way now also. So far still, seeing him makes me feel down and uncomfortable. I barely see much of anything to make me feel happy about him. The only thing I know that made me happy was only his looks and deep voice. It's like I was and still am feeling like I don't ever want to hear him and of his name or see his face again! And maybe I will or will not get there someday, which depends on how I feel later or if I might change or not. That's how angry I am and was, and to let it out for some reason makes me feel a little better, that way I don't keep all my anger, especially of him hidden inside of me. So far, I'm not really so kind about him because I don't feel enough kindness from him as I see him in the videos. Maybe if he were to intentionally be a really nice person like I once thought he was, then I may be nice about him. But as I see, people only like him so much mostly cause he looks good and can talk really good on the outside, but maybe what he means they don't understand. Like I say, how can I like someone I don't truly enough know or understand? And besides, since I'm so easily emotional, I have reasons not to like him. I don't get why everyone likes him and me myself not liking him for several reasons is so bad just because I don't think the same way like all the others who love him so much!
Do you have pictures of him spread across your walls? Do you have a shrine decorated with his personal belongings that you've stolen?
Kayla Montanez this is so juvenile and childish I cannot even believe that you are still employed by this company. If those are your feelings about this man that's fine but to publicly persecute him for practically nothing is as I described earlier. The best part of this *for me* is that I used to be like you and I would have fought everything to get my point across and have it known at every chance - for nothing. All that anger and hostility you hold for him is only upsetting you in the long run and when people talk about "just letting it go" it's not cuz they don't care but because they know there is no point in putting in that much negative energy into someone so inconsequential. Think about it, how you feel about this man he completely does not matter to your day-to-day life. I am positive that you can go to your boss and ask them to never do another interview with him ever again and that's will be the end of it if you want it. If you don't then you'll continue to be an abrasive bitch who everyone gets automatically defensive with because the way you come off is extremely aggressive and pretentious. It's in your facial expressions, body language and the emphasis on the way you speak down to someone you have resentment towards. Normally right now I would say that I wasn't saying this for me I was saying it for you, because you're the one who has to go on and live with yourself, but I got a lot out of this so I can't say that with absolute truth. Whether you appreciate what I have said or not I feel really good about trying to pass on what I have learned to someone who is making the same mistakes I did years ago. Nothing was a dig, I was just trying to focus your view on your mirror. Here's a dig, saying someone "speaks good" is nails on a chalkboard horrendous, the word to describe someone who can converse well is eloquent. Me or others speaking eloquently does not equal us being pretentious cunts, that's just us not wanting to sound like a fucking dumbass iq of 91 fucktards, savvy?
He's so hot oh my god.. but I'm really curious what's that in the sides of his forehead? I just can't take my eyes of it.
Obscure Entertainment, I don't know what the f*** you're talking about either!! I didn't steal anything from that actor, and definitely I have no painted shrine of him! If I'm not a fan, why would I have one or steal from him in the first place?!!! Stop coming up with b******* to ask or say to me!!!!! You ought to realize if I don't like Richard Armitage, I obviously wouldn't want anything to do with his stuff!!!! Besides, if I were to steal from him, I would have had to have met him and loved him bad enough like a huge fan long ago before now, which I never have!!
Like anyone believes you anymore :D
I m sorry can't comprehend his spesking because fadter for me
