As a Slovenian, my emotions are mixed, Slovenian won the tour, but also lost the tour..i feel sorry for Roglič, because he is 30, and he does not have many more chances, but Pogačar has many more chances, but yet if you are in the position to take the tour, you take it. Pogačar today was simply out of this world, unbeatable, that tells a lot he had a minute and a half lead on the second guy on cronometer. Amazing

Extreming gc riders rest on the flatter stages in the peloton and really only compete on the climbs. They put out “only” around 200-250watts in the peloton on flat, which is about zone 1 to low zone 2 for these guys. They really don’t go into threshold that often.

Fantastic ride Pogacar! He deserves it completely in my view.
Thinking sideways, I doubt Jumbo DS will ever get another job in elite cycling...Did it effect Roglic's mental state or was it actually all in the legs?!

Roglič is the first competitor with great success in cycling for Slovenia. He deserves all the recognition. Due to the his defeat, i was speechless, then I was looking forward to Pogačar's victory. He is the future. This is a unique experience for Slovenia, it will probably never happen again. In the end, Roglič congratulated the winner and showed his greatness.

My heart goes out for Roglic tonight! True champion in his own regard! Pogacar is here to make history. Would be good to see what Egan Bernal has in store for next year. One rivalry to look forward to.

GREAT great Tour this year! So refreshing to see the strongest rider beat the strongest team (as much as I like Roglic). Outstanding: The epic stage to the Col de la Loze (should become a classic like Alpe d'Huez, Galibier, Ventoux...) and this time trial. What else was memorable? Certainly the attacking spirit of Carapaz and Hirschi, the versatility and overall work that van Aert and Dumoulin put in, the duel of Bennett and Sagan for green, Alaphilippe attacking in the mountains. Was hoping for Roglic to make history winning two grand tours in a row and for Pogacar to win in the future. Primoz had way more help though and got destroyed in the time trial so it's easy to acknowledge the performance by Tadej and be happy for him. Looking forward to next year

I feel gutted for ROGLIC and the entire JUMBO-VISMA Team who put up such an incredible and painstaking hard work in shielding the YELLOW JERSEY💔 it’s just sad to see him ultimately lose on the very last day,JUMBO/VISMA owned this TDF with their cohesive work as a solid team,I truly loved watching them take charge when it mattered the most...however...A massive shout out to POGACAR and his entire team as well,I suppose he wanted it more and gave more when/where it mattered the most🙌🏿 an overall incredible 2020 TDF it’s been under these unfortunate covid circumstances...2021 promises to be a bigger and better, will be keeping a close eye on Froome,Alaphillipe,Porte,Bernal,Cosnefroy,Carapaz,Quintana,Dumoulin and the current champ.
Happy riding to every ardent cyclist and TDF Fan around the world 🌍✌🏿🇿🇦

Heartbreak for 2nd place in TDF? Congrats to all Slovenians for being represented by no. 1 and no. 2. Compared to other Slovenians and other peloton riders, they both clean up ok...
Edit: not to mention that the guy who's been longer on a bike won. Kudos to Roglic for being so good after starting in a different sport, but Pogacar is a huge talent and has been giving his whole life to this.

I fell asleep maybe 10 minutes before Pogacar started his TT *~facepalm~*
But i did bet on him to win the stage, so had a good surprise when i woke up.... i didn't think he could make up enough time to win the whole tour though.
I will have to watch the whole TT for Pogacar and Roglic later today.
