    Thanks for this.
    I was told to use the locking thingy right at the very edge of the vinyl (or on the cutting mat) that seems to hold that edge flatter and prevents the vinyl catching.
    It's interesting as it looks like yo. Are using HTV. But when we use regular vinyl it's rolled shiny side out still so you have to put the roll on the' roller the other way so the vinyl rolls over the top. The pain with this is when you want to feed the vinyl backwards it won't roll back up and the roller seems to pull forward (closer to the cameo)

    I just got a 4 12in.. the roller doesn't work great with 150 yard roll on a 4in tube. OD is too large for the angle so I have to load, then roll off slack for the length I need to prevent the drag pulling off. Then backing up binds in the guide plate.

    Hey people, is there a way to dictate the cut path of the cameo 4? As in telling it which parts of the image to cut first...I have had success with the roller, however it seems the software sometimes does the top of the page, shoots down to the middle and then back to the top etc...This obviously disrupts the roll as its not the most secure fixture as it is.

  • @michaeljakus8373
    @michaeljakus8373 Před 3 lety +3

    Your last adjustable roller is in the wrong place it should be on the second slot from the right so that it just rides on the edge of the right side of the vinyl. In turn holding the right side down and not allowing it to curve up ward.

    I tried using the vinyl roller a couple of times and gave up. My main issue was that the same settings that I used for vinyl when it's on the mat is not the same settings that you would use when it's on the vinyl roller... at least i don't think it's the same. It cut different and i tried playing around with the settings but it didn't cut the way it does with the mat. One day I will play around with it some more because I would much rather use the roller vs. using the mat. Any tips on the settings to use when using the roller?

      I did notice that when I got my cameo 4. Try changing the blade if you've had it for a while or what I did was just change the pressure in intervals of one. Everyone's experience is not gonna be the same cause some people cut alot and some people dont cut as much. Unfortunately there is no universal fix.
