This video depicts the uses of the TBOC Observed Fire Trainer, a supplementary trainer that individuals may use at their own discretion with no requirements other than having their own computer and internet. This is pretty awesome, I was really surprised at how realistic it is.
Please help, I have the direction adjustments down but unsure of calculating distance and what the observed fire fan is for.
Has this been taken down or did the link location change?

He dude, the one i found on oegames.tradoc.army.mil does not work; the compass turns all wrong so you cannot get an accurate bearing. I bet they did that so the enemy cannot use the trainer. Without the compass to tell the direction there is no way in hell you can get an accurate direction, unless you can just place yourself on the map and can read from the map where the target should be on the map. So its kind of broken right now. :(

on the M2 Compass in the game the arrow does not point north but it does point in the direction you are aiming, so it can still be used. Example: if you turn to 4800 needle should be at 1600 but instead is on 4800. In the settings you can chose another compass ( the one in the video) that one works fine.
