The way that I interpreted the boss fights and challenges was that the player was proving to all the other racers that the player should be the one to race against Oxide. Oxide was only giving Earth one chance, so choosing the right racer was important

The TTs are easier than the relics, imo. If you can do even some of the Relics without grabbing all the boxes, then it's pretty much given that you can beat the Oxide times.
Damn Caddy really kept that whole microtransaction conversation going smoothly while doing those challenge races. Entertainer skills right there.

The way CD's work is that as long as the main game works you are fine. It's like a computer. You can play Battleship on your PC but you can also load in the Titanic theme song from youtube. A scratch is like cutting the internet from your computer. If you play Battleship and try to go to youtube with no internet, the computer doesn't know where to go, that's how CD's work. The laser that reads the disk doesn't know where to go
The scrapbook is longer for NTSC, but more importantly, your disc is the most brokenly working PS1 disc I’ve ever seen lol

fyi, in hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (film at least) the main characters house is to be demolished and made into a "bypass", and then aliens arive and say they are going to demolish the planet and put a interstellar bypass there, and then we learn the meaning of life, and if you haven't you should do yourself the service and either watch or read it

Well, those modes aren’t tied to the main story mode, so I guess we can say he 100% the Story Mode, or the main game.

Not necesarily, but if you want to ensure a higher chance to get a plat relic, it's something you can do.
If you're going for Platinum Relics, kinda. As you saw, Caddy didn't get very many platinum relics without the 10 second bonus for getting all the boxes.
So no time trials and beating the ghost? Could this be really counted as 101% completed then?
The save file at the end of video says "101% completed".
@@sportakus3 Well yeah it counts for the adventure mode, but can we truly say the game is completed without beating N.Tropy and Oxides ghosts?
Yes. Time Trials don't affect your Adventure percentage and beating Tropy and Oxide's ghosts just unlocks Tropy and Scrapbook, the latter of which can be seen through beating Oxide with a completed file.

I also immediately bought the Biker Skin when I played Crash on the run, and even bought some more skins.
But holy shit the online events for that game are garbage, and I got sick of seeing stuff I wanted for ridiculous amounts of Crystals that I could only come close to if I paid money to get more crystals. I'm not gonna dedicate my time to something daily, or spend anything besides spare money, towards earning cosmetics in any game free or otherwise.
Other than that little snag I felt that game was alright, not amazing but also pretty decent in terms of what the game is.

Personally I didn't mind mtx in Nitro fuel and I did spend like 30$ on as a small thank you to the devs for the whole Year of monthly Grand Prix and free new content.

I'm only a little bit into the video but god damn tiny arena is So Long. I'll get 1/3 of the way through the 2nd lap and go "Jesus Christ am I done yet?????" I know there's at least a couple other tracks that are similar in length but tiny arena just feels extra long

I agree that there is a huge difference between abuse and discipline, and I believe a single open-handed smack should be allowed on children, however I have to give Caddy credit that his arguments are compelling. Depending on the circumstances and the child, his methods may be more effective than spanking at times - again, I do think physical discipline is viable, and Caddy was very narrow-minded in his thinking in some ways (children aren't always disciplined because the parent is just "annoyed", that's silly), but I have to concede that there's more nuance to the subject than I thought.
