Why does everyone act like Lebron and KD’s game deteriorating as they get older is unbelievable like that doesn’t happen in every facet of life😭😭😭. Lebron is 40 years old, KD is 35, Steph is 35, that fact that they’re are still able to compete against the younger players at a high level is impressive in itself but we gotta stop criticizing these guys for not carrying teams to the promise land while in the downtrend of their careers.

KD has been a 2nd and 3rd option his whole career and he's still playing at his level. He can go to a contender and win another chip. The Suns don't have a legit 1st option now and aren't winning anything.
LeBron is still great, but he's not a championship-caliber 1st option anymore. AD has never been a championship-caliber 1st option, so the Lakers as constructed are over. If LeBron is willing to be a 2nd option and totally defer to a legit 1st option, he can still win a chip. But personality-wise, I don't think he can do that.
Steph isn't a championship-caliber 1st option anymore, either. Like LeBron, he can still win a chip as a second option, if he can learn to not try to be "the guy" anymore.
Kawhi still has the tools to be a 1st option on a title team, but his health will never return. If he wants to be able to walk when he's older, he should retire.
