This was my mission!
I’m so excited that Knoxville is getting a temple!
The travel time for the people there was not as bad as other places but some of my areas would be 4-5 hours to a temple. Not terrible but also not an easy commitment.

Back in 2019 when Oakland California Temple was undergoing an open house before being rededicated, a Church representative said that the current goal was to make sure that 90 percent of the population of the church lived within 2 hours of a temple. This is definitely going to help Knoxville and the local areas achieve that!
