The way you effortlessly float through every door is insane to me because it’s pretty hard to do consistently. I’ve built most of my runs avoiding doors because of how difficult it is. Props this is insane

Have been a lucio main for some years now using rightclick as jump but i can't seem to get as smooth "walltaps" as you, how important do you think scroll is?
what you find comfortable is probably best. For lucio surf in particular scroll was far more consistent than double tapping rmb for me. I know really good lucio surf players who dont use scroll at all.
scroll lets you instantly jump after latching onto a wall, making it easier to jump from things like poles and thin objects (also gets rid of the wall-ride animation which is what makes it look so smooth) however using spacebar or right-click allows you to control the amount of time between latching and jumping which lets you get more precise and longer distance jumps.
how do you get use to using the scroll/rmb to jump
go to Lucios controls settings and scroll down till you see the jump bind. Then assign scroll (up or down) to slot 1 and right click to slot 2.
