4:58 was such a sweet and subtle scene. it was clear that kevin wanted to brush off the insult but dwight gave him a very genuine compliment in the best way he could. and kevin’s smile right after that was adorable.

Sweet and caring? What? Maybe protective, like an animal would do to preserve its species but those are not his inner emotions
Dwight did too many cold-bloodedly, ugly things for me to say that I liked that character. One thing: He convinced Michael, (who in genuine Michael form didn’t want to do his job and have to make a decision himself anyway) to let him select the office medical plan. Dwight always wants to be a kiss-up to Michael/corporate/ the company, so he selected a medical plan that had a $12,000 yearly deductible! This essentially meant no one in the office would have any medical coverage whatsoever (unless they had a catastrophicly expensive event like a coma). He also selected no vision or dental coverage at all. When confronted by most of the office about it, he said he did it because he doesn’t go to the dentist and “the Shrutes have good genes and never get sick.” That is just one of the things that Dwight did that was downright evil.

Giving Packer too little screen time in the show was one of the most nefarious crimes in the history of TV shows. Perhaps, it was for the better. Every time Packer appears, throws a top-notch acting and disappears for a whole season, which makes him a rare gem in the show.

1. Queen is a word very commonly used for simps to put their girlfriend before everything else, in this case not caring about your friend (in this case albeit bad friend) because your “wife” is there.

@@zyzzyx7698 I think that people who find Michael's humor funny are either very similar to Michael or are more laughing at the situation or peoples reactions to what Michael does.
What I love about Packer, is how he’s meant to represent the old days, how things used to be, because he never progressed in his career, personally or in the show. Only Michael does, and it shows in contrast, Michael’s progression further, and further from Packer. He loved him initially because they both had the same background, but Michael grew, Packer never did.
It's also refreshing to see a "bro friendship" that is not completely functional and mutual. The relationship also highlights how lonely and desperate Michael is deep down.

I knew a tod packer. Two of them actually, they came in a set. They were friends of my roommate, over every weekend. At our apartment we had a saltwater fish tank. After a night of drinking I awoke to find all the fish dead. They had poured a bottle of brake fluid in it, possibly other stuff. I dont you guys but I had a "friend" like packer. Its one of those friendships which you can't get out off and you wish you could. I feel so much for Michael for having to deal with all those forced laughs and forced jokes just not to hurt your asashole friends feelings.
