I live in Central Florida I love love Florida. I also have a coastal themed home. The trick is not to make it to themed but yet you want to represent the state you live in because we just have so much beauty. And a coastal themed home never goes out of style. It'is timeless.

Hi, Allison. I have an idea for that funny narrow space next to the stairs: why not a grandfather clock something curvy with lighter wood tones to compliment but not compete with the wood on the staircase? It would help to anchor that space and a little more wood and the curves would really pop given the clean lines and the lightness of the area. I'm not a decorator but I play one on T.V.! What do you think?

Pretty house! The deep space next to the under-the-stairs closet needs to be part of the closet. Just knock the right side closet wall out and build a new wall encasing the deep open space. You'll get a bigger closet!
