I needed this old vacuum without a bag at 2am to pack in my SpaceSaver bags. I leave in 5 hours to a long trip. Without your video I couldn’t have pack! I couldn’t close the vacuum. Thanks thanks thaaaanks!!
I am very glad that you like it!
Now you know why I like these AEG (Electrolux) vacuum cleaners. Currently I just have bagless UltraFlex, but I am planning to get more.
Thank you. Your video was a great help. Unboxed mine today. Needed to reduce suction power for carpets. However with two Jack Russell’s I had a lot of white hair in stairs and landing carpet. It was exceptional for removing dog hair. 🏴
I used this video to figure out how to replace the bag for the first time. Thank you.
Thank you!!! The same happened to me, couldn't close it, didn't know the filter needs to click.
Thanks for this assembly video, it helped a lot. Just got this !
Great demo - Thanks!
Thanks for your comments and info. It helps. Have good day!
G'day mate, just wanted to say how much I've really been enjoying your channel. Your demonstrations are so detailed and knowledgeable. Keep up the good videos 👌👌👌👌👌👌
Did you ever make an actual demonstration of this machine as you indicated in this video? I have been looking but can’t find it.
thanks to you, I was able to close it !!!
Great video Mr Roger as usual I missed the other live video I'm going to watch it next
yeh girll
Best vacuum CZcamsr ever
He sure is
I too noticed there is someone who formats his videos a lot like Roger's. I cannot tolerate anyone else's poor attempts to demo or unbox a vacuum. Roger adds that extra something to it. I don't know what it is. Perhaps it is the gas from the beans he eats for breakfast....
Yes he is.
I have got the same model from electrolux. Very good machine. Vacuum really more than ultrasilencer model for less money. A little bit more noisy but it is important to have airflow
Quite stylish. I'm surprised that it didn't include the dusting brush as Electrolux is usually good about that with their canisters. I agree with you about dusting furniture with the dusting attachment on a sealed HEPA machine. My late mother suffered from emphysema so I purchased my Electrolux EL6986 expressly for that reason and added a long universal dusting brush. It resulted in a very dust free home. I like the sound of the motors on Electrolux/AEG canisters. I find that their quiet sound encourages me to vacuum thoroughly from corner to corner without rushing. Enjoy your new machine Roger. It's really quite lovely and from all of us, Thank You Patrick. Your kind largess benefits all of us who view Roger's wonderful channel.
I think the model up from this one includes the dusting brush.
Thank you very much!! I'm from Brussels and I cleaned the vacuum and when I tried to close it. It didn't click well. Your video helped me to see how to close it well. Thank you very much.
Thank you, very illuminating. I found the instruction sheet completely indecipherable!
Thank you for help.
This is a great vacuum cleaner
Thank you sir after your video i lear how to fix it 💜
can you make a video about small aparts - brush ( extensions, i see that you have 4 ) and describe which is which their purpose, thx
U said that hepa filter is washable. Could you do a tutorial on it?
I've a similar vacuum cleaner. Can you explain why the telescopic hose comes off while I'm cleaning? It either falls on the floor damage the perquet or even risk to injure myself.
I got this nice cleaner but in Sweden it is called Electrolux. Looks cool and very good power for the weight and size. Noise level is pretty low since you do not need full power all the time. Thanks for good review!
For a long time I only glanced at your name, reading it as "I basic" lol
Here from Hungary 👍✌
I have a problem with turbo nozzle on exact model, I unsrew four screws and have no idea how to open it, it's such a mission. If anyone have a clue, please advice! Thanks!
i just bought one of this ! Same colour and all ! But i also had turbo cleaner with it . And another thing i had some kind or rug inside the motor where is the filter on the back. i don't know if it is protecting the motor or not but i pull that out ! Thanks for the video !
The felt you took out is sound insulation
What’s your favourite vacuum cleaner? Which is the best vacuum cleaner? Which one are you using?
mine is pretty new but after i replace the dust bag with a new one, it has started to create a high pitched sound. can somebody help how to fix it?😵💫
Do you know the AEG Cyclone XL? It's a really good vacuum! P.S. Love your videos.
why don't you do the dyson v8 absolute
brilliant video Roger, is that your Shark powerhead i can spy in the backgrond nice!
Yes, it was. I should be getting another one in a day or two.
louise stirton thats what I was going to ask

aeg vacuum cleaners are the equivalent to electrolux vacuum cleaners as they are both the same company
electrolux is sweedish which explains why it's not made in China as that's below sweden
Hi, can you make a video on the Numatic Henry HVB160 Cordless? Please reply, thanks!
Yes I will, but only because Numatic are sending me one for free.
Class A is ok, but it's not the best. (Amazon basics cleaners meet it). Can upgrade the filter on this to the AEG allergy plus. Which is ECARF certified. This filters much better (99.9%+). Class A is 99.5%. Can also get other AEG models with allergy plus as standard.
Get my mum to buy this for are next daily vacume
Wow, talk about your cheapo plastic attachments. Yuck, what junk. The vacuum itself seems ok, I like the look of it. Maybe paired up with some vintage Hoover or Electrolux attachments {if one can}, it just might last the month out. Nice review Roger.
Does anyone know if Miele tools will fit this or what diameter tools it takes ?
Handsome vacuum. I wouldn't mind being seen out in public with it on my arm......
Ok that's a little weird
ha, just a little?
I thought he was talking about me.
Roger, the day you suck as well as an AEG...wait, it is a lower watt machine. Roger, what is your wattage?

As I have an e3 premium by sebo I take quality for granted but in comparison on a scale of 1 to 10 how douse this aeg compare to the e3
Electrolux silentperformer do cyclonic inspection
I thought I was the only one who likes the look of certain vacuums. I normally don't put my Sebo in the closet as I like to liker of him/her as a show piece. Am I weird, yes, but I don't care!
Many people do that
Come out of the closet David, you can be a show piece too.
Do you Brits use the term "come out of the closet" or is it "come out of the wardrobe?"
Who said I hadn't?
I'm not sure but when everything is over one leans over and says to the other "Have you arrived?"
Made in Hungary
I wonder who thinks a Sebo power nozzle won't remove more dust than a straight suction nozzle.
Well certainly no one that understands the physicality of the process.
My first vacuum purchase when I moved into my first apartment when in my twenties was a power nozzle canister. It was a really powerful machine but on a few occasions I needed to have the connecting sockets on the hose and along the wand replaced as they'd build up resistance and burn out. Since then I've been using an upright and a suction only canister on each floor and it has resulted in much longer lasting machine life. I have a few turbo nozzles too for the canisters and they're very convenient for cleaning under furniture.
It puzzles me how some people use a canister vacuum with a straight suction nozzle to clean carpet. In my mind, a rotating brush is required for proper cleaning of carpet. You don't get any of the grooming or agitating that's needed to pull dirt out if you just use a suction nozzle.
Most people are only bothered that the carpet looks clean, but we all know you need agitation to get deep down clean.
Powerforce by electrolux I thought powerforce was made by bissell
the Hepa filter was correctly snapped in place at the factory. You, on the other hand, had no idea how to install it properly my friend.
You are no friend of mine.
700 Watt ha ha
700 watts equal to 2000 or more watts , Ha Ha
The case sucks as shit. It takes every time 15 minutes to shut that bloody case. What a stupid design!
The case wasn't shutting properly because I hadn't correctly put the exhaust filter in place.
I understand what happened in your video. But the problem happens to even the filter is fitted in place. There's a slight angle that prevents the case shut properly when I close it. :
@@quintuschen7923 , how did you manage after 15 minutes?! I've made sure everything is in place but I'm having the same issue, that an angle seems to be off, and I can't even shut it by force. This is the second of this model I've had and I'm having the same issue. Is there anything I might be missing about the manoeuvre?
@@isobelpayne4105 I seemed to find a way to just fling the cover towards it and it somehow got the angle :S anyway it's not very well designed.
@@quintuschen7923 And I thought it was me! Got it yesterday. Took ages to work out and I consider myself quite savvy!!🤣🤣🤣
