@@eyesopen5386, definitely Isaac Curtis. He is my all-time favorite Bengal. He and Ken Anderson connected on many "bomb's" from the mid 1970's thru the early/mid 1980's.
I remember seeing a cartoon back in the day showing Isaac Curtis applying glue to his finger tips.
I don't recall who it was against, but I do remember Curtis catching an Anderson pass down the sideline where he caught the pass one handed over his head grabbing the backside of the ball. It was incredible, as good as any Odell Beckham Jr. catch.
@@DPMConnacht that catch was against the Steelers. It was spectacular. I actually met Mr Curtis at a club on main street (Stowe's) in the early 90's. The band was Soul Pocket. We talked about football and I told him that was my favorite Bengals play of all time. He was a very polite and accessible gentleman. He also had ridiculously long fingers. Lol.

I didn't realize that catch was against the Steelers (all the better).
To me he always came off as so cool. Everything he did was so smooth.
I'm sure he's not the only one to say it, but his comment "Act like you've been there before" when talking about TD "theatrics" was so Isaac Curtis.
I met a few Bengals way back when. Remember Tommy Casanova? Retired young, went on and became a leading Phys. in Leprosy Research here in the USA. From Louisiana I think.
Around 1981-82 I met Anthony Munoz and Max Montoya while working at a gas station. Around 1986-88 I met Eddie Brown and David Fulcher (he was HUGE, shoulders about 4ft wide) working downtown. Sometime in the early 1980's I literally ran into Ken Anderson, or rather he ran into me (he was looking down as we were approaching one another on a busy sidewalk downtown. I went left, he went right, and vice versa until we met at the shoulders. He looked up, smiled, and said "sorry about that, you ok?").
The Bengals had a few really good teams throughout the early-mid 1970's. The Steelers, Raiders, and Dolphins were just too loaded and it showed during the Playoffs.
The old AFC Central was brutal in and of itself. Just like the AFC North today, they played physical football (they weren't known for finesse football).
There may be some that don't know (I'm sure you're quite aware) the AFC North has the Bengals, Steelers, and Browns (Ravens) from the old AFC Central and the 4th AFC Central team, the Houston Oilers, are today's Tennessee Titans.
Those nerves will settle by next off season. Lol. Higgins, you just made a new fan. You're a good guy and I can tell. The eyes never lie.

He can highpoint the ball. He can break tackles. His footwork is severely underrated. Tee will hit 1100 yds this year

I happen to believe, as an athlete myself, Higgins feels a threat upon Chase and has focused and worked out harder since recent draft than he normally would have. And will perform better this season overall due to Chase.
And he got the 1100 yards too as WR2. He knew all along

Let's not cloud things up by unnecessary questions about Burrow and Chase. Yes they're good but this is a team effort and t Higgins deserves every bit of as much praise as Chase burrow and the rest of the team who are performing at their best. Let Higgins celebrate his talents and successes without having to answer about others.

We're loaded, but will only go as far as Joe takes us. Unfortunately, I think it will take him at least a year to bounce back from the injury.
I think the leg injury has forced Joe to work more on his upper body strength and that's why you are seeing more zip on the throw.
Nah he was gonna work it anyways. He kept saying last year that he was gonna work on his ball speed. This is no accident.

@@bryce2124 The better question is, why would they not? Most recieving yards, recieving touchdowns, receptions, and 1000+ yard seasons of any wide receiver in Bengals history, more than Isaac Curtis, Carl Pickens, Chris Collinsworth, and A.J. Green.
