I live in Cincinnati, been a Reds & Bengals fan my entire life and this one hurt bad. Getting all the way to the big dance and falling short to a home-team Super Bowl. But I am very proud of the Bengals for their accomplishments and we will be back next year....believe that!
Considering they still have players like Burrow, Chase, Mixon, Boyd, Higgins, Moss, and more and managing to snag La'el Collins, Ted Karras, Alex Cappa, Hayden Hurst, and Nick Eubanks in Free Agency as well as Daxton Hill, Cam Taylor-Britt, Zachary Carter, Cordell Volson, Tycen Anderson, and Jeffrey Gunter in the draft. The 2022 Cincinnati Bengals will be fiercer than ever. I can see them going 12-5 this season and possibly to the playoff season again. Will they get to the Super Bowl again in 2023? Very unlikely but hey. We can hope, right? #WhoDey

The craziest thing I take away from this season is that joe burrow got sacked undeniably the most in the NFL yet put up the rating and numbers he put up… how is this possible… when you think about it, even if they only get a middle of the road o-line burrow seems like he’d be unstoppable..

The Bengals were rebuilding for 40 years, then in 2016, they failed their rebuild, so they restarted rebuilding in 2019. They made the Super Bowl in 2021.

The Bengals also are in great shape under the salary cap and they are very young. I am in Cincinnati and this city has seriously fell in love with this team I've never seen a team bond with fans like they have. That raider's playoff there was grown men of all ages balling like babies including me.
Living in Cincy, the feeling around the city was absolutely nuts during the playoff run last year. It was indescribable.

That bengals rams super bowl was one of the best Super Bowls for a while. Best halftime show, close game with nfl stars on both teams. That year of playoff games was amazing too. Definitely one of the better games we had for a Super Bowl in a whole
All they did was draft burrow and finally fire Lewis. They had a great team for years but they were undisciplined dirty and didn’t know how to win. Burrow fixed that.
Seeing the Bengals with the chance of going to another Super Bowl in two consecutive years, just makes it better.

its because their division sucks. Just getting the No. 1 Draft Pick and select a good QB is not enough to call it a rebuild. Over the past few years the Jags had a few playoff appearances, the Bengals or Lions for expamle did not. The Rams did really bad this season, if they draft some good O-linemen and reach the playoffs again would you call it a rebuild?

I was 3 years old when the Bengals went to the SB in 89, so when they finally made it back beating kansas this house was full of joyful tears. Though they couldn't quite get it done they proved it wasn't a fluke, they fought hard and lost but damn I was proud of them. Hats off to the Rams. It was bittersweet seeing Stafford win one.

Their Super Bowl lost made me pissed I was mad that the rams spent so much money to acquire talent. I really wanted the bengals to win so the rams could look stupid.
i think we do not give Evan McPherson enough credit for his part in the playoff run. nearly every game in the Bengals playoff run came down to a difficult field goal set on the rookies shoulders. obviously he was just "doing his job" like most people would say but for him to do it so well and for being so young and new to the league i think he should get more recognition.

Burrow needs protection. Bengals can be long term superstars of the AFC if that happens.

Joe Burrow was definitely very fortunate to be picked by the Bengals. The team already had its act together when he arrived. By contrast, too many number one draft picks have gone to messed up franchises that can't utilize their prize picks properly. (Jacksonville anyone?)
Burrow has completely changed this franchise into a successful one. Probably the best 1st overall pick at qb since the Manning bros

Still stings man, hearing all those failed seasons hurt, I remember I was a Chase hater at first, I thought we NEEDED Penei Sewell, but now Chase is one of our golden boys, I remember all these painful seasons, losing Dalton was heartbreaking, the red headed rifle left and AJ Green my favorite player left with him, it's tough being a Bengals fan but I remember watching every playoff game, and that fateful day in LA when my team almost won a Superbowl, I'm now 19 and was raised a lifelong Bengals fan, I remember growing up and being clowned for my Dalton shirt, or my Carlos Dunlap jersey, life was rough man but here we are, wouldn't wanna love any other team. 🧡🖤

2020 was probably the best draft in the history of the NFL. It was ridiculous the amount of talent in that draft. You’re going to see Plenty of Hall of Famer’s from the 2020 class. It’s like the 89 or 99 draft just loaded. And this 2022 draft is full of wide receivers unlike any before. Bengals can pick up another weapon in this draft.

Just goes to show if you draft to fit a certain scheme it goes a long way instead of drafting best available. Bengals did that and with free agency they signed guys who fitted perfectly in with their offensive and defense scheme

Just the fact that that they've had a successful rebuild is impressive. Other teams seem to be in an eternal rebuild (Jets, Lions, Browns, Panthers etc).
Panthers we’re pretty good before cam Newton constantly got hurt, and the browns are no longer rebuilding, haven’t been for the last 2 years

Went from 4 wins with one of the oldest rosters in the league to now being 13-1 with one of the youngest and that to me will be a bit more impressive seeing as how the Bengals had a lot of young talent that just improved. A Bengal fan since the 80's boomer, Munoz, began liking them cuz my jets sucked.. this year I e watched the Bengals offense with pride. The jets too..
