To add to the hospital bag, I would bring a robe. My baby was in the NICU for 2 weeks. The first few days before I was released from the hospital due to c section as well I would either use a wheelchair or walk bits over to visit her. The nicu wasn't super close to my room but I wasn't in any condition to wear normal clothes yet. It was nice to have something to cover up with. Agree to keep the bag minimal.
Don’t forget to pack your tooth brush in your hospital bag. Never know if you are going to be held for more days than expected. Happened with my first birth - had to stay 3 days. I purchased a smaller sized pillow to sit on for a few weeks after giving birth. Also, I nursed the first 4-6 months so I would drink chamomile tea around 6pm. Worked wonders to help baby and I sleep. Great content!
No cause I clicked because of the X over the Frida mom peri bottle. That thing is AMAZING. It’s absolutely necessary. I have an emotional attachment to that thing LOL!!! MUST HAVE!!! 😂🙌🏼
Also loved my Frida mom peri bottle and I had a c section! It prevented me from having to reach too much and helped make me feel fresher 😅
This video is very informative and helpful for those having a baby. I'm done having babies. I'm perimenopause, but I watch these videos to support you and your channel 💖
I agree with the disposable underwear prior to labour! My water broke at home and our hospital is 45 mins away and I threw on a pair that helped keep the car clean on the way to the hospital 😂 also I would wear it postpartum (fellow c-section mom) with my high waisted binder underwear overtop and it kept everything secure ! I’m 25 weeks with baby #2 and was just telling my husband I need to get another package
I also exclusively wore maternity nightgowns for the hospital (the old navy ones were great they have the clip on the straps for nursing) again it kept clothes off my incision and was very comfortable
The sunflower thing is def a must! It gave me relief within a day it was amazing! Also, I had a c section and they just used glue…that’s so interesting that they had a bandage on you!
I totally agree on your must haves! I also had a c section so a lot goes out the door real quick lol
Good morning Paige happy Friday afternoon and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter
I used coconut oil as nipple butter. I loved that it essentially melted onto my skin and got in the cracks. I didn't want to have to rub the cracks, they hurt. Plus it's way cheaper and you can use the rest for cooking when you're done with it.
Thank you for this video ❤ I’m due in 2 months! *saves video*
I was super lucky with recovery. Terrible long labour and I lost alot of blood but I had no issues recovering.
I was in the same situation at the beginning with an oversupply! It definitely rough whether you are over or under with supply 💕 obviously glad to be able to feed my babe, but the engorgement and leaking is no joke.
I took a breastfeeding class and somebody asked about those silverettes and the instructor said it’s expensive and usually you don’t need it so I was like glad I didn’t spend the money! Lol
It's been years since I had my babies and the grandkids but I wanted to say the hospital has everything you need. Even if someone had said that to you, you might not have listened...... Not you but people in general...
How do you get stuff free from insurance
My son is 2 and I had a c section also and can go back to low cut undies. Just doesn’t feel right
Am I having kids any time soon? No. Did I watch the whole video? Of course. 😆
Same here❤
