- Hey guys in this video my buddy Matty gets a set of Kooks Headers for his SS so I figured Id make a video for anyone out there with an SS looking to get some headers! Hope you enjoy!

I just ordered headers x pipe and exhaust delete and CAI for my son's 2021 camaro SS redline my question is will it need tuning if so can It still have the teen driver key
Hey I have a question on what I should do I've been saving and I'm not sure what I want to do should I get kooks or tx speed headers and should I go 1 7/8 or 2 in and what would be a the best intake for my 2020 ss 1le. I already have the AWE axle back track series should I go ahead and get the cat back what is the better one to do

Hey Ray I know it weird to ask but are u prefer 2inch or 7/8 cuz I think I accidentally bought the 2 inch from kooks!
Leon Hoang I think they’re both fine I’ve heard that having 2” headers without any boost can give you a little less HP than you’d gain with 7/8 but not that big of a difference

I record doing a lot and I meant a lot of research of tuners and shops in your area if you care about your car and don’t always go for the cheaper places they will destroy your car
I went to Late Model Performance for my ZL1 and my buddy went to tuning tech for his SS. Yeah we are in MD

Hey I'm also in MD and have a 2016 camaro 2SS myself and want headers installed... where in MD is that shop located? Just want to take it somewhere where they know what they doing with these cars and not just some random car shop and of course for a reasonable price
Yes, that's what I was wondering. Where in Maryland because my wife works in Rockville and they said "270" so that's definitely around that area. Will be getting another camaro beginning of next year and would love to know where to take it for shop work.
so is it 7/8 better or 2inch better and is that with off road connection?
To be honest I’m not sure. I’ve always learned that 2” can be a little too much for N/A set ups but with boost it can allow more power possibilities
Without 700+-ish RWHP you actually lose torque with 2” headers. Rule of thumb is stick with 1 7/8th unless you want high revving high HP setups with lower torque.
Can these be installed with no tune and not get a Check Engine light?
I think you would need a tune depends on cats and stuff too
