    FYI: We can choose if Euler Theorem can be applied or not easily as that's not long process but to choose between Chinese remainder theorem and Reverse Euler theorem see if the denominator can be splitted into prime factor or not

    Sir why you divided 101 from 14 and not from 7 ? By Dividing 101 from 7 we will also get 3 as remainder.

    sir, why we can't take negative values of K , as in 3rd question if we take k=-1 we will still get the same answer , we will get -3 as rem which we can convert in positive as 34, The form 37k+1, I know that remainder can not be negative , but we have used -ve integer as remainder and solve the question

    How everytime we are getting r = 1.. bcz if we solve it using eluer ans. Will differ from 1. Ex in 12¹⁰⁷ /37 , 7⁹⁹ /101 etc

    Sir what in the case when the last figure isn't divisible by the denominator....for ex for a question like 50^50/53 ...at last we get = 53k + 1 / 2500 .....which will never be completely divisible!

      Brother in such case 2500/53 gives reminder 9... So your opposite term will be like 53k+1/9 which can easily solve

    at 8:23 sir wrote 54/-3 will give the remainder as -18, but -18 is the quotient not the remainder, remainder is zero (0) so how come we are considering -18 there

    It took me some time to get what you meant by how the remainder takes the form 3k + 2 (remainder of 5, 8, 11 etc are all basically 2 once you reduce). I just got confused, because essentially 14 is also of the form 3k + 2 and 14 is also a (kind of) remainder when you divide it by 3 (14 = 3 x 0 + 14). This has opened my mind a lot more, as is the case when watching your videos (especially on number theory concepts).

      Again, 5,8,11 etc aren’t remainders, they are dividends which when divided by 3 gives the remainder as 2. So how can we equate 1 which is essentially the remainder with 3k+2 which is the form of the dividend? This is not making sense to me. Can you please help ?

      it is written 3k+2 is form of remainder where k is the smallest value
      so if k=0, so remainder =2 same as above

    There 54/-3 u gave as -18. But it's not remainder right sir!! Why we take quotient all of a sudden and y we add 53 to -18 which is divisor?

    At 5:00 I dont quite understand how remainder and the no. have same form. Remainder is 2 ryt. Putting any other value for k gives wrong remainder for 14/3?

      Try different values for k. For example, for 14/3: remainder is of the form 3k+2, for different values of k you get 2, 5, 8, 11...etc. , these are essentially all the remainders of 14/3. ... 3x4=12, so remainder is 2,. 3x3= 9, so remainder is 5,. 3x2=6,. So remainder is 8......etc.
