    As for the height of the rockets, well... Wikipedia is not enough, the data were collected from various sources.

    The N1 seems like it should only half count since it never flew successfully and blew up shortly after launch for every single attempt.

    • @GoToSpace_GTS
      @GoToSpace_GTS  Před 6 lety +1

      Joshua Zelinsky Do you know how hard it is to design and build a rocket? N1 was built and launched.... it wasn't successful, but if the Soviets keep on trying it woulded have been successful. If it was launched then it deserves a place in this TOP.

    • @joshuazelinsky5213
      @joshuazelinsky5213 Před 6 lety +1

      Sure, even building it was very impressive. And I agree that if the Soviets had kept at it the N1 would have had all its kinks ironed out. But it does still seem unfair to the others in the list who were more successful at almost as large.

    • @GoToSpace_GTS
      @GoToSpace_GTS  Před 6 lety +1

      Joshua Zelinsky Yeah, I see your point....it's hard to make a compromise :) everybody has his own opinion (If I had omitted the N1 from this list, then the Russians would have said that I am pro USA or "racist"). Hope you understand the decision I made.

      Tramseskumbanan Yes you're right...I coudn't find any footage of a Titan 34D launch, that why I used the TItan III....but as you say, Titan III and Titan 34D are very close in design.

    Where are the Japanese H2A rockets?
    H2A and H2B are different rockets.
    Also, H2B does not have type 304.
    The model name of the Japanese rocket is given only when a derivative type exists.
    H2B has no derived type, so there is no type name.
    Even if it is attached, the number of the model name is 204 because the first number is the number of stages, the second number is the number of liquid boosters, and the last number is the number of solid rocket boosters.

    The 23rd rocket is Commercial Titan III, that's not Titan 34d

      Yes it is, you are right. I couldn't find footage of the Titan 34D, so I used some from Titan III. Anyways, the 2 rockets are very similar in design.

    I fully understand that Americans like Falcon 9, because China has the earliest reusable rockets, this technology stimulated Americans. So this is why many Americans cheered for the Falcon 9.
