#SimplyRed #SimplyRed #Reaction - ZĂĄbava
Thank you for reacting to this! đ„ Iâm a Canadian who was living in London when this song hit #1. It was EVERYWHERE. Nothing but great vibes and memories from that time â€ïžâ€ïž
One of the great things of the 20th Century Simple Red Hucknell's voice and the good vibes from this BANGER that nothing today could reach. Their concert before the Dictatorship era some years back at the Sydney Opera House is awesome.
A great band live ⊠the guy can sing and always, always had a really tight band.
Ah! First one! Simply Red is simply fantastic! Thanks for reaction! Love to watch you enjoying... Greetings from Serbia.
Sonething's Gotten Me Started, Stars, For Your Babies, If You Don't Know Me By Now, Sunrise, You Make Me Feel Brand New, You've Got It, Say You Love Me, Never Never Love... So many hits and good songs. USA is really missing out.
they were everywhere , bars, clubs in Madrid and in Summer in Ibiza,,,,,,,,
Simply Red was huge in South Africa. All the local bands covered them, especially when Fairground came out!
Love that you react to so many different singers, try â Starsâ from Simply Red, big hit here in England.
Tribal rhythms? Also try Pet Shop Boys' Se A Vida E.
I love Simply Red! I was born in the late 90s in the UK and I have to thank my parents for having me listen to so many different genres and artists because they have a very different taste in music... Simply Red is curtesy of my Mum. This particular song always makes me feel so happy, positive and free. Thank you for allowing me to listen to it through your ears for the first time again and giving me an opportunity to listen to it again.
Love this song.
What a song I loved this hit ! You should react and comment on these songs of this band, I highly recommend it : "Money too tie to mention" "Something got me started" "Come to my aid" "It's Only love" They have a lot of great songs !
Yes, a number 1 in the UK. Remember it well!
Stars and Holding Back The Years are fab songs by Simply Red!
Great joyous sound ! Would love to see your reaction to â Letâs Go Outside â, George Michael
I remember hearing this in NZ at the club on the dance-floor and as soon as the chorus hit with those tribal drums at the end of it, everyone went crazy!
That is sweeet!!!
I just discovered this song a few days ago! I'm happy you're reacting to it!
đŹđ§ Oh YESSSS, now we're talking! â€ïžđŒđ¶đïž
Great reaction please react Simply red you make me feel brand new in live version is Amazing đźđ
One of my favorite ones â€ïž Greetings from Greece
The best song ever in any Football Euro!
I'd never heard this, and like itđ. Simply Red has a beautiful voice.
Mick Hucknall is the amazing lead singer. Simply Red is the band name.
Please, please please react to simply read song âholding back the yearsâ thank you thank you thank you
This wouldnât really be classed as Euro. Itâs British, you know, like The Beatles, Queen, David Bowie, Elton John etc
Not my favourite by them tho it was very popularâŠâŠ.my favourite is a lesser known âŠStayâŠ.. tho Never Never LoveâŠ..Something Got Me StartedâŠâŠStarsâŠ.. SunriseâŠ.are very good songs
Too bad Simply Red did this. So corny. I love their other more soul songs. This is trash....
That must be why it reached number one in all those different countries then.... Cos it's trash!! đđđ
A big fan this track is so buoyant in the chorus I could just cry need a fairground right now sorry you don't get it on this one
Hate this song, still not everything is for me :) if you like it good for you
This song and the album it came off of âStarsâ were both HUGE, HUGE hits in the U.K. and throughout Europe. The reason it didnât hit the same in the U.S. is because the U.S. music scene was focused on grunge while over in the U.K. and Europe, grunge was not a thing (thank goodness IMO).
edit: thanks @infinitesam5880 who corrected my comment, âFairgroundâ is off the âLifeâ album. With that clarified, @SalvoG for your next Simply Red reaction, consider the song âStarsâ the title track of the album by the same name. And since you always research your reaction choices by reading from the online source you use which includes the chart positions, the âStarsâ album accomplished something which is very rare. It was the #1 album for the year 1991 in the U.K. and in a very rare feat, it was the #1 album in the U.K. for 1992 also!
Fairground was taken from their 5th Album 'Life', not the Stars album đ
@@infinitesam5880 oops! My bad, thanks for the correction. And I should have known better because I have the âLifeâ album. I had âStarsâ on my mind because I wanted to suggest next Simply Red reaction to be the single âStarsâ, the title track of the album of same name.
@@jerrycote659 No worries đ€
This man is one of the best LIVE singers you will ever see!! I saw him in Los Angeles several years ago and I was floored!! There are a few great Simply Red (his nickname is "Red", real name Mick Hucknall) concerts on CZcams, some with full orchestras. Watch any of them. He gives 120%.
