      Speak to your printer and ask them for the file information they need. Just because something is printed a certain size, doesn’t mean the files need to be that big. :)

      @@DarrenM I am using the pro version. It doesn't matter because those grids, even taking the space to zero, still leave lines running through the design and ruin it.

    @soniacastello1114 Před rokem +1

    hey Darren I have tried to do this several times and for some reason I am getting a line in the repeated pattern all the time when downloading the final pattern . I think it's coming from the last grid when moving up and down, why I cannot get rid of it?? so frustrating, how can I fix this?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  Před rokem +1

      So where you see a line it means they are not lined up fully. You can highlight the one you need to move and use the arrow keys to nudge it by one pixel. This will close the gap for you.
      It also helps if you zoom in on your design (bottom right corner) so you can be more accurate with your positioning. 😊

    • @soniacastello1114
      @soniacastello1114 Před rokem

      @@DarrenM hi Darren thanks for your reply. I tried doing what you say and I don't get a fully aligned design either. I tried different processes too. So when using the left and right grid I download the image created, and I repeat this in the 3x3 and no white lines or black lines are appearing when downloading the image from this page. But when I use the up and down grid, I download the image and repeat in the 3x3 grid and I can see the white lines in the Canva page or black lines when downloading the 3 x 3 image as transparent background. I believe the issue is coming from the up and down grid that doesn't align perfectly the edges. I have reported this to Canva support and they told me that the engineers are going to look at this lol. Would you mind trying to do a new design pattern using the grids and see if you get that issue as well?

    How do you get rid of that dotted line (grid line)?

    • @DarrenM
      @DarrenM  Před rokem +1

      There shouldn't be any lines when you export it. If there is, use the nudge or arrow keys to move them one pixel at a time
