ECS has solid carbon fiber. Had their front lip on my mk6 GLI, and LOVED it. Having some trouble figuring out which one I want for my mk7.5. Car is great falls green and I want to trim it up with gloss black. Got the TCR rear diffuser. Bought extra canard to have them professionally done in gloss black. My spoiler though is carbon fiber. A lil subtle tasteful amount. Looking good my dude.

Are you able to go wider up front without worrying about the bumper screw cutting up the tire? Also how far does the fender protrude from the front bumper?
Yes, these protrude 10 mm from where you the stock fenders sit. I do rub a little bit up front but not bad by any means. We are able to run up to a 285/35 up front though I personally run a 265/35.
@@HaydenCroix what’s the wheel specs and what trimming did you have to do? I’m currently debating on getting the oem fitment fenders or the wide fenders. I’m going big turbo in December and I currently have 255/35/18 Michelins and the wheels I have are 18x8.5 +45 and I rub on big bumps
@@dariusrahimi6295 I trimmed them on the inside of the fender to simulate almost like a rolled fender. Also my wheels are 18x8.5+35. I have video on my channel going more into depth
U never added any bolts on the side other than the ones that faces the wheel? I heard the 3m tape doesn’t hold up very well!
I actually ended up reverse mounting that lip and it lasted for a while but eventually was claimed by a snow storm. The car now has a new lip on it.
@@HaydenCroix did u go back to ebay or same lip? I broke 2 maxton design , and learned not to spend money on a lip bc its going to brake anw , and for my surprise the ebay one is like a snow plower in the winter and lasted me more than the expensive splitters , but I recently chipped it and now idk if i wanna get the same ebay or get the ecs , only negative with the ebay lip is that it doesn’t look super good , what do u think?
@@daydream2818 Feel free to check out the channel, I actually have a video on replacing that lip with another style from ECS. I would have bought the same one though it wasn't in stock. I also have ran an ebay lip before and it did the job but looks nowhere near as good in my opinion.
