I'm not sure. I usually just bump it with an impact. Easier than trying to hold the steering wheel while tightening with a ratchet. Good luck on your project!
I'll try to look back and see. I believe I ordered it from Rock Auto. I don't usually purchase their "Economy" items. Usually the "Standard Replacement" items.
My 2008 f250 cruise stopped working as well...replaced the cruise release switch on the master cylinder; no change. did your radio functions work before replacing the old clock spring?
the voltage on the cruise pressure connection on the M cylinder was a little squirrelly. I think i got a good connection now...the finicky beast started working today...don't like it, but I'll take it...
@joy hutchings I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I know how to help with that. Unhooked? My brain is sometimes unhooked, but can't tell you how it got that way. Lol
Helped me out! Appreciate you!
Thank you! This was a great walkthrough to help me change my clock spring.

Radio worked just fine. Only thing not working was the cruise. Clock spring replacement got my cruise working like new again.
