Seriously. Thank you. You share your huge knowledge you worked hard for with others for free. This is simply awesome. Thank you!
Mate! I have literally upped my game in like a few days just by watching your tutorials. In my opinion the best photoshop tutorials on youtube! Thank you!
this is one of the best photoshop tutorial video I have ever seen, not only you were able to discuss the important facts, the flow was good, instructions were clear and concise, and the tutorial was very focused and true to its title, which is to teach the viewers how to isolate items properly. thank you so much!!
more power to your channel.
I love TutVid!! When you're that smart, it's hard for the mouth to keep up with the brain. I think he's fabulous and goes into helpful details that many others do not.
Thank you for your time and knowlege!!! I love that you cram a bunch of info in this video. I love that you talk fast and get to the point. If you know photoshop it is no problem keeping up. If you don't hey, just keep rewinding and watch it over and over. That is the great thing about these FREE videos, you can go back as much as you need to and hit pause and learn at your own speed.
Absolutely great tutorials! Quick, to the point and very clear. Thank you so so much!
I needed this yesterday, but so glad I found it today!!
Thank you! đ
Stepping into PS for the first time, this guy is a wizard. Thank you for all the info!
Thank you for this. One of the most helpful Photoshop tutorials I've seen anywhere.
Never in my life have I paused & rewound a video as much as this one. Spent almost the whole day practicing these techniques on several photos, and I couldn't be any happier with the results. Thank you so much for this video, and all your videos for that matter...much appreciated!
Now where's the Excedrin?! lol
Thank you - this is phantastic overview and starting point for my own development. Great!
Really appreciate the kind words! đ
Thank you! I forgot all about the polygonal tool, just made my selection so much easier. đ
Your video's are just plain amazing. You're such a great teacher! Thank you so much for this!
that was so helpful , i can't believe i only just discovered this channel now , thank you
Very useful. Thanks.
Just want to say, this is SUCH a great video. Forever grateful
Thank you! Great tips. I'm a pentool person so learning a better way to do hair was very useful. Also the color selection and chanel selection are great. Thanks again!
One of the best tutorials I've seen esp since the update on cc2017 on how to use the old select and mask and how to find it. Thank you. X
Really appreciate the kind words! đ
Great video Nathaniel. I never tired calculations. I will certainly keep that in mind. I use to dodge and burn the layer mask at the edges to gently fix gray areas of a mask, but I will definitely try the soft light method. Thanks again.
one of the best selection videos I have ever watched maybe BEST
Love all your videos and tips Great Job
Thank you, your videos are being of great help for some one with little knowledge in graphic design like me. Keep up with the good work!
Usually i use pluggins to help me on that... mainly because i get photos of people using white color clothes on white background. i know that the best way would be to try to create some contrast between them at the time of the photo was taken, but sometimes i can't...
but your tips were great!! the important thing is to know different ways to different needs.. i just like to share some things, like i don't like to use brush to refine a mask, i like to use the Dodge and Burn method. one method that i use to creat quick with lots of details mask is by duplicatin a image, create a white mask, select it and use apply image on it.
thanks for Sharing!!
Glad I found this cause I needed it and I didn't mind rewind and playing a couple of times just to make sure i got it, awesome vid thanks.

That bonus is on point! I always tend to forget about it
Very useful, thank you so much!
Thank you, it works perfect!
Thanks guys for another awesome tutorial! What are your go-to Quick Selection tool settings (brush settings)? Is a harder brush better? How about spacing and/or Roundness?
Thank you. Best lesson for this issue.
Awesome video!!! Thanks
I used to be really good at Photoshop, back before the days of 'CZcams', when one had subscribe and to and read through photoshop forums for hours and hours.. honestly, but after not having used it intensely since version 7....... I suck at it now, I really can't remember even the basics, it's depressing :-(
I used to have my own website which I built (which no longer exists ) dedicated to teaching Photoshop .... but now I can't do a fraction of what I used to do. It's true what they say I suppose "Use it or you lose it"
Love these tutorials man.
It's a very good video! Thanks for your sharing!

Of course! Glad you enjoyed it!
1. How did u get the transparent background?
2. When u say paint over, what tool are u using to paint and what color are u painting with?
Chitown 17â if you are referring to the mask tool, these are the instructions. painting over is with the regular brush tool. To erase in mask, have your foreground set to black. To add have your foreground color set to white.
Hope that was helpful, you can also search youtube for a "masking tutorial"
Oh ok thank u Sholom Brummel, Iv'e closed out PS but will resume tomorrow, can't wait to try that. working on a project in Animate cc, that was nice of you, thanks.
Chitown 17 No problemđ
I just wanted to let you know that I'm only 13 and was able to tell you what to do without even checking to see if I was right. This proves that if you have a passion for something, and pursue that passion you WILL SUCCEED. You can see my work on my youtube channel called BruMedia Design.
Hope you succeed in design!
Excellent my friend as usual...

Very helpful! Thanks for making this. What's your thought process for deciding which selection method to employ for a given task? Do you have a rule of thumb or mnemonic device you've kind of whittled it down to yet? I have a lot of practice to get better at PS and selections!
