The thing is Ron has so many things to be thankful for. He’s rich. He doesn’t have to work full time. He’s buff and has a line of women wanting to date him. He has millions of fans. He has a bunch of really close friends. He’s got to experience amazing things most people will never get to experience. I’m like 1% as fortunate as he is yet I’m more grateful than he is. That’s why he’s unhappy.

I’ve been a Jersey Shore fan for years. To see Ron come back and be calm, cool, collective, is amazing. Today I’m 414 days sober, and it took me a long time to believe I am worthy, and get the relationships back that mean something to me. I’m rooting for you Ron.

I am so proud of Ron. And kudos to Mike for keeping in contact with Ron. Mike has been where Ron is. Mike was in a very dark place. He got sober and changed his life. Now when the old Mike kinda peers out its never with any ill will. Mike is a genuine good person and an inspiration. And i think Ron needed that.

I think Roni was a broken person and the show, with TMZ on standby, made it worse for him. I think the bond they have is genuine and in a way the cast can help him....but he has to take accountability for his behaviour. Whether it was for show or not, it was still a big moment for Roni to do this. I just can't help think being on the show will trigger bad behaviour again though. Best of Luck.

The whole fam is a bunch of hypocrites. They had a problem with the domestic violence with Jen, but they didn't have a problem with the emotional abuse towards Sam. I know domestic violence is hitting, but emotional abuse messes with your mental health. To me, abuse is abuse 🤷♀️

Worst pain I ever went through and even i know looking back now that It was my choice that I chose to react toxically instead of leaving. I chose to bring everyone else into it. Sam and Ron were on tv nothing was private they chose the toxicity and that was on both of them. I’m sure he’s also gone through the pain. It’s not all 1 sided with abusive relationships. Especially if they both trigger each others trauma

I’m so very happy & glad Sammi & Justin left way before Ron showed up ! I feel so completely bad for Sammi because I can most definitely look at her & tell she’s really done with Ron & that she doesn’t want anything to do with him nomore after everything she been through with his cheating ways, his lying ways, his manipulative ways & the fact that he played her & manipulated her, cheated on her multiple times on national television & he literally broke all of her stuff that she really worked so hard. My girl Sammi is literally happier & healthier than ever. Honestly, I’m so very happy for her because she truly deserves everything & more.
I agree 100%, and the fact people are Defending Ron actions and saying Sammi was also the issue when Ron was clearly involved in other dramatic relationships really pisses me off. I stand by Sam, she is not obligated to see that man, she moved on and part of moving on is not speaking to the person who brought toxicity into your life

A relationship is 2 people. Sammi may not have been toxic in the ways that Ron was, but she was toxic and they BOTH were not healthy for each other. Whatever they’ve been through is clearly in the past where it should stay. No one is perfect and no one is exempt from growth, change and redemption and I feel like if we can have compassion and empathy for Mike then we should do the same for Ron. People need to stop putting Ron down to uplift Sammi because not once in this sit down with them did he mention her. Just as she isn’t thinking about him I guarantee you he isn’t thinking about her either.
My father was like Ron. My mother told me that once I was born he went to rehab for a year and a half and came back with a new purpose. She did not believe he changed but she gave him the benefit of the doubt and realized he did changed for me and his family. Maybe Ron is changing for his daughter. Children can be powerful in someone’s life.

Agreed. I was child number 6 and my dad had been an alchaholic for over 20 years. When I was 7 he went to rehab after hearing I had been abused and never drank again. It's been over 30 years now
Mike and Snooki were the most happy and welcoming out of everyone. I think because they were the most wild ones, they’re the most understanding to a certain point. At the same time, they all have a right to feel how they feel towards Ron. These are the consequences to his actions. I think the rest of them are tired of his lies and patters and don’t believe in him. And that’s understandable. Now it’s up to him to prove them wrong. I really am rooting for Ron. I hope he’s being truthful and hit rock bottom so he can only move on up from here. If Mike can do it, anyone can. They just have to really want it. You got this Ron!
I ain’t going to lie I almost teared up when I saw this scene, I felt so bad for Ron. You can tell he was truly hurt when the roommates isolated themselves away from him.

Yes, my heart was breaking for him. I think he finally hit his rock bottom and decided he really had to change and for real this time. Now that he moved to Florida and has full custody of his little girl, I think he'll be alright.

My boyfriend said this same speech to me after he was arrested for domestic violence. It did not get better. Abusers do not care about others, they only start to care when their actions start negatively impacting their lives. It’s genuinely concerning how many you guys are so forgiving to someone who has mentally and physically abused numerous women for over a decade.

Sammy is the best thing that’s happened to this show since it began. She bridges all of the gaps and is the most emotionally evolved of them all and sets a high bar on how to treat others. She consistently shows up as a class act. There is no way she and Ron can do this show at the same time. He is too toxic for her well-being. So, I hope the producers realize that drama Ron brings is not good for ratings the way the stability Sam brings is. Everyone loves having Sam back. All of the girls love her, which is RARE with this crowd. She has earned everyone’s respect. Hopefully they decide that stability outweighs drama ratings. Ron isn’t inherently evil but he is an abusive person who will need a lot more therapy than he has had in order to be truly stable and healed. I wish him well, but he needs to double it down and keep going before he can return. Even Mike slipped back and became his old self in many ways….healing takes time.

I’m a huge believer of giving people second chances but this isn’t Ron’s second chance.
He has been enabled by everyone sitting at that table and MTV for way too long. He keeps coming back, apologizes and everything is cool again.

I think his drinking triggers most of his darkness. He does love his daughter and if a man ever treated her as he has women. I trust he wants to provide a better example of how a woman should be treated. Wanting him to consider sober living and learning what causes his triggered attacks against his girlfriend.

We think we know people through TV and everything we see in the media. Getting full custody of his daughter says a lot about his character and of course he's not perfect
he has the ability to change even if he gave up and relapsed countless times. I don’t excuse what Ron has done in the past, but I do feel like he is in a good place and is truly caring for his daughter and himself. Ron is like family to them so of course they are going to forgive him, especially if he has been working on himself and they see the change.

I think it’s absolutely amazing that Ron took the time to express himself, and in a sense ask for forgiveness. I appreciate the fact that he took the time for himself to get to know himself again, and to acknowledge the things that he did in the past that weren’t right and to make those changes even if he’s continuously making them as it now he’s growing from it and it shows. That’s the beauty of taking time away and focusing on ourselves we finally Wake Up from the haze and realize that we need to make changes in a positive way.
Absolutely! I believe Ron really wanted to change this time. The other times it was because others wanted him to. He has full custody of his daughter and moved away from everyone to Florida. To me, I personally believe he's changed.
Deena doesn't seem to be buying it and neither does Jenni. I don't blame them really. But I loved how they let him speak and didn't cut him off. I did however notice when he was about to say "I take full responsibility" but just said "I take responsibility " and "I got the help I needed" he's going to indeed need more help and continue to do so. I hope he does continue the help cause he surely needs it!

He really sounds level headed and clear. If you follow this show over the years you will understand what I'm saying. He's always doing this giggle laugh thing, even in really serious situations. This time he just seemed genuine and clear minded and focused. Like he's getting real help. Mental health is real and it's okay to say I'm not okay and to get help. If he truly is getting that help and support than he should have an opportunity to regain these friendships. I wish Ron the best and the rest of the cast ❤

everytime he apologizes for his DV episodes i always think back to the scene in JS when he approached sam on the roof deck after she confronted him about her broken glasses, like he was going to hit her but than remembered the camera were there… i could only imagine what she went through when the cameras were off. i’m glad she left this loser exactly where he belongs.

I think of the episode when Sammi punched Ron in the face for talking to JWOW. That clearly wasn’t the first time for DA. However most of the time when a woman punches someone like that, oh he definitely was beating on her or pushing her around in an aggressive manner and she just got fed up.

This episode made me cry it’s so raw and real and I felt everything Ron us saying. He’s been through so much
I have been watching these people on TV since 2009. I can tell Ron is genuinely regretful for his actions, for hurting everyone around him, his apology in this video was real, it made me cry. I'm glad he has found a happy place and I hope he continues to do good in his life. 🙂

It seems like he genuinely feels bad about the hurt he has caused.. His apology and owning up to his past choices/behavior is a great start to rebuilding relationships. Mental health and substance use can have a profound effect on someomes life in a negative way. He's taking the steps to repair/rebuild his life. It takes time but people can change with the right help ❤

I understand. It's hard to believe. But I feel like he's finally taking accountability for his actions for real this time. Bc he lost everything his job that he loved, his cast mates, and other people that care about him. As well when he was self destructing himself, he didn't realize he was hurting everyone around him that cared about him. It was ruining their image and careers just of off growing up with him or being associated in his circle. I think he now realizes if he makes another mistakes again. They won't forgive him.
I think Ron was the next generation of abusive males.. He mirrored the example his parents portrayed. He's learned able to break that curse of alcohol and angered abuse.

We all struggle in our own ways..Ron went on that show in pain from a tragedy. In my opinion it manifested itself inside his soul.. He’s a human being like the rest of us. The day you truly face yourself and take accountability to you and all that you love is the biggest step forward. Each person in that room can take notes. We all deserve forgiveness and a chance for change.. Life here on earth is a learning experience to grow and evolve in our spirit so we can raise our vibrations spread love, ideas kindness onto the next.. I hope they all heal and make more great memories together. You cannot take anything with you accept what you build in your soul…. Ron that had to be hard but I always saw your heart in there… Thank you for being so vulnerable that’s strength and definitely growth!!!

I'm sorry but the fact that production let this abusive man back into the show is absurd especially knowing that sammi was back. He is a domestic violence abuser. He didn't just have an altercation but he physically knocked someone out. He could have killed her. It's beyond me how they just let him back in. This dude has had millions of chances. He has repeatedly been shown being abusive to women. He has attacked them. If it hadn't been for MTV, he would be in jail. Stop giving him a platform.

Ron drowned Jen Harley’s dog in their pool because she wouldn’t answer his calls or texts; that was the time MTV filmed her spitting on him. So obviously they edit things to look a certain way like she was the problem. Sorry but I cant imagine how anyone would want a dog killer near them as if it’s perfectly okay.

I don't expect him to be completely changed and to never make mistakes again but you never give up on family. This was necessary for everyone, hope he gets to interact with Sammi and apologize to her in person. Forgiveness will give them both peace and true closure. One of my favorite moments of the show ever.

I remember the time on OG Jersey Shore when Ronnie called his dad to come visit, because he was upset about Sammi. Meanwhile, he had been awful to her, but really skated past all that with his dad. But the thing that always stuck out to me was that his dad was not the least bit shocked to get the call or have to come immediately. It seemed like it was the norm. Ronnie was a mess long before the show. And Sammi needs to count her blessings things went no further with him. I have a good friend right now that is trying to divorce an abusive narcissist. He is putting her through the ringer!! He is so furious that she left him. One day he’ll be crying and begging. Then the next day he’ll use their children as weapons try to get her back. He has made calls to all her friends and family, lying about her. He also lies their children. And don’t even get me started on the stalking and restraining orders. She has a great job and is really trying to rebuild her life with her children. He just won’t let up. But for many years, it appeared they had the perfect life. She confided in me how horrible he’s been all along. So I knew it was all a facade. But most people believed they were so happy. People like he and Ronnie are dangerous. And more so when they don’t get their way.

To me, all this clip does is demonstrate how a little bit of behind the scenes editing and manipulation can paint anyone, regardless of how horrible their actions are, as a victim. Ronnie's abuse does not end at emotional abuse with Sammi or physical altercations with Jen. Do people really think he was gone for 2 years due to poor mental health? MTV is trying to bail Ron out by painting him as a victim of circumstance. Notice how he doesn't directly take accountability for ANYTHING. When someone is "taking accountability", if they are truly remorseful, they will list out what they did and why. Ronnie was fired for KNOCKING SAFFIRE MATOS OUT COLD. HE LITERALLY PUNCHED HER IN THE FACE. Uncle Nino was even on camera saying all of this. This clip does a really good job of setting Ronnie back on the path of giving MTV more ratings. Ronnie should not be given constant bailouts by this franchise or it's producers, and without reality TV consistently enabling his behavior and pulling him back out of the depths when it goes too far, he would be in prison. He needs real help, not to make amends with the fam.
I didn't know he knocked out Saffire cold. Do you have any proof of that? He seems to be getting worse and worse as most abusers who are enabled do. Everyone cheered him on when he was abusing and cheating on Sam. She got so fed up that she punched HIM in the face. Not every woman is a fighter like Sam. Saffire seemed really docile and nonviolent. Sam would get in scuffles to defend herself.

These links obviously aren't definitive proof, but if him losing his job, having DV charges against him, and uncle nino, an important member of the show, is going around saying this, and no ones denying it, then....
A producer for the original JS also said once that the choppier scenes are, the harder they had to work to edit. This is likely due to breaking the fourth wall. They most likely openly spoke about Saffire and the charges against him, leading to heavy editing to not make him look bad. This is why it cuts to his piece of paper like 5 times. Pretty gross imo

I’m honestly baffled by how Jersey Shore became such a sensation. It started as just a bunch of kids goofing around, drinking, partying, drama and now they’re hailed as icons? It really makes you question society’s standards, doesn’t it? I can’t say I’m shocked by many of the situations they find themselves in.

When you’ve given someone so many chances and they only disappointed you and u finally cut them off for ur own mental health it’s a lot. I think a lot of them looked down because they don’t want or owe him another chance but they also don’t want to say anything hurtful
Situation really lit up more than the others on knowing what to say, and supporting. Not a fan of Ron, but to see it and Ron attach to that is something we can take in and take notes, if you’re sadly watching a friend/family go through similar.
