Back in the day, I saw sxsxs 22-1/2 times in L.A. (Larry was out one night we left at intermission). Never got old. But I sorely wish there was a recording of his "Anyone Can Whistle." Wonderful.
May His Memory Be Eternal.....He had a great voice! I was studying voice with Keith Davis in NYC in the early '70's ...One day as I was arriving for my lesson Larry was leaving....Keith introduced us....He was a very kind person and great talent.
We all die no matter what the disease. Better we celebrate his very fortunate , wonderful life. No one ever sang Tony from West Side Story better than he did.
@@580Dick He died too young and unnecessarily and painfully of AIDS because the Reagan government, for too long, refused to fund research because it was a male "gay" disease, which is reprehensible and homophobic. So, no, we don't all die a painful, wasting death from a deliberately neglected disease.
I lived in New York when Company opened. Tickets were affordable then and I saw the show many times...with Dean Jones and with Larry Kert. I think Larry Kert is the definitive Bobby.
I saw Larry Kert on a tv show years ago. I don’t know what show or what even what he sang but i never forgot him. Happy I can find a few things on CZcams with him❤️❤️

Larry was a consummate Broadway performer. A terrific voice.
