Mad respect to the diver. Encountering something weird and huge but still calm and just observe the things. LOL.
i think that diver is so scared and just can’t do anything

@@foxtartz You're aware that you're on CZcams right?
@@foxtartz yes everyone knows this is cgi
What alot of these animations dont seem to understand is that people with Thalassophobia aren't afraid of sharks or loud noises, they're afraid of the endless deep, not seeing the actual thing that could be hunting you.
Yeah but that'd imply actual effort in horror and not cheap jumpscare for Tiktok views
@@ammagon4519you can see the guy likes making monsters more than actual horror content
@@graycatsaderow yeah the monster models are impressive, but the animation itself is kinda meh.
@@ammagon4519 yea i agree
For me it's the idea of what's hiding in the deep, in the darkness, in the unknown
I feel like these would give a larger amount of dread if they didn’t end in an “imminent death” event. That Cthulhu one actually gave me chills until the two tentacles were about to squish the diver.
I will say the grab was pretty creepy. No sound. No other signs of this creature. It just reaches out and grabs the diver and pulls back and that’s it.
The jumpscares are annoyingly repetitive tbh
I guess that's what Tiktok wants then go for it I guess
the ridiculous fried-out audio doesnt help either
the ones with the deafeningly loud noises would be a lot scarier if they were silent. a part of why ocean creatures are so scary to some people is how stealthy and silent they are. one second you're looking into vast emptyness and the next a large animal just appears without a sound. them doing a big loud train roar thing ends up taking away from the fear factor instead of adding to it
I’d have to disagree! I think these distorted crazy loud sounds are terrifying! And one of the things that creeped me out most when playing subnautica was hearing the leviathans before seeing them, I think the more unrecognisable the sound, the scarier it is. Maybe just very low vibrations instead of pure silence. Just a weird deafening low rumbling lol
I definitely feel what you’re saying. The sea creatures screaming like some rejected fnaf jump scare really cheapens it
If somethings big enough to make that loud a sound underwater, its like u know ur fucked
You haven't played subnautica then
@@goldenghost2001 I’ve seen loads of gameplay and it gives off the same feeling. It’s creepy up until the sea creature starts roaring. Starts to feel like a cheap action movie
The pool one represents 100% the way I feel being alone in one, all the time I feel like something is coming at me in any direction, even if I know it wouldn't even be possible.
Fear the pool shark!
I am always scared of crocs in my pool (I live down under but in brisbane where there aren’t many crocs anyways)
That's called schizophrenia, my dude
@@monochromatic7738 there have been some baby croc attacks so your fear is valid
No because same here. Everybody calls me an idiot for thinking that but I literally can’t help it😭

Reaper leviathan right?
@@TheNothing-yh1kz Exactly
@Anonymous Commenter shut up kid
@Anonymous Commenter ok
As someone who's killed 3 of them, I can tell you that they're shit your pants level of scary at first, but eventually are more annoying than anything.
For someone who has thalassaphobia. It's never the big things in the water like a giant eyeball or cheesy giant fish. It's about not being able to see what there is... Like If I feel off a boat and into the ocean I would be having a panic attack from not knowing whats under me since I have salt in my eyes and can't open them... Thalassaphobia is not a fear of giant things in the water it's about the fear of not knowing what could be under the water.
Correct, the fear of big creatures is actually called megalohydrothalassophobia.
Exactly. I'm scared of both. I can't handle looking beneath myself and seeing that emptiness. For me, the ocean is one of the scariest and fascinating things out there. And the fact that we know so little about it makes it even scarier. Not knowing what lurks under you and seeing that deep dark abbys.
Now that you gave the explanation, I think my sister has Thalassophobia, given that she fears not knowing what is under water.
1:50 is genuinely horrifying. I’d probably die of a heart attack then and there if I saw some monstrosity like that creep up from under my kayak

The guy: 🗿🗿🗿
With this you've managed to trigger at least four different phobias. Well done! 👏👏👏
I can name at least two here: Thalassophobia and Megalophobia
@@iaminsideyourwalls2021miedo a la oscuridad
Decided to name all of the creatures and how to survive them:
0:00 Wide-eyed Guppy- it wouldn’t hurt a fly, but if a school approach you, that’s a sign that a guppy giant is near, so RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
0:10 Many-eyed Guppy Giant- If it sees you, you’re as good as dead, enough said.
0:16 The Satanic Anglerfish- Unlike all other species, these actually hunt in shallow water. But they also hunt in teams. A younger specimen will stare at the prey somehow disorienting them, then a larger one will ambush from behind, eating the small specimen and prey whole. Rarely, they use a different hunting strategy: simply ambushing from below. In case you see one swimming towards you, death is imminent.
0:36 Eye Of The Ravine- It’s true form is unknown, and it only shows it’s eye. It is a gentle giant, but if you dive anywhere near the eye, it will somehow rise up, and kill you instantly.
0:46 Pool Shark- an extremely territorial and lethal freshwater shark. It’s normal habitat is lakes and ponds, though they can sometimes inexplicably manifest in pools, unlucky for the unfortunate pool goers. If you see one, your best bet is to get out of the pool. FAST.
1:00 Reaper Death Leviathan X- a mutated version of the Reaper Leviathan. They are two times more aggressive then your normal Reaper, so even if you didn’t move a muscle, you would probably be attacked for no reason.
1:17 Death Shark- an ocean subspecies of the Pool Shark. Their behavior and appearance is exactly the same, but these things have the ability to leap out of the water, making them even more lethal.
1:36 Abyssal Hand- A giant that hides in underwater ravines. We don’t know what it looks like, except a giant humanoid that it uses to grab prey and sometimes unintentionally, humans. It is also a gentle giant, so if you get dragged down to your doom, at least you know he didn’t mean it :).
1:55 Death-glare Humanoid - A giant, hostile merman that hunts down surfers. It does not hunt down it’s victims with violence, but with it’s eyes. Looking at it’s bulbous, soulless eyes seems to give viewers an dying urge to commit suicide, so they fall of their board, straight into its mouth.
1:57 Dread Whale- A monstrous fish about the size of a blue whale, with enormous fins, and when they find prey, they slap them with jets of water ejected from their fins, disorienting or even knocking out smaller creatures, and then it swallows them whole.
2:09 Cthulhu Squid- While not exactly a demigod, it’s still dangerous. A giant octopus squid hybrid, whose tentacles reach 1300 feet long and glowing red eyes that look like they’re filled with hatred, it certainly is intimidating. But not only that, every tentacle has suckers with spines growing up to two feet long, which pierce their prey. And their razor-sharp beaks are as wide as a pickup truck and strong enough to break a train car in half.
2:20 Kaiser Jelly- Being as long as a small truck, they certainly are intimidating to look at, but the thing you need to do is to not get accidentally touch it, even the bell of the jelly because every nook and cranny of the jelly’s exterior is covered in nematocysts. Basically, just keep your distance.
2:38 The Cthulhu Squid hunting down a cargo ship
2:50 Megamouth Whale- Related to the dread whale. Although, their hunting strategy is swimming at their prey at blinding speed, then opening their gigantic mouths filled with sharp teeth and swallowing whatever the prey is whole.
Hoped you liked it!
Amazing must have took hours of thinking...

Just keep in mind that this is more scary than the sea is. You won't hear that creepy loud noise when a big but probably inoffensive fish approaches you. When I was a little kid, I always used to tell people that my biggest fear was sticking my head in deep water, looking towards the bottom of the ocean and seeing Godzilla looking up at me.
Now my biggest fear is life.
Idk why but seeing those giants jelly fish overwhelm you would be more unerving thn a Cthulhu

1:00 IT'S THE REAPER LEVIATAN!
OG creator of these videos is Borisao Blois but thank you for compiling some of his videos I was looking for some thalassophobia content to watch
All I could think of with the shark in the pool was the "Glass Shark" bit from MBMBAM.
These are great.
As a cosmic horror fan, I adore everything about this!
normal fish eyes 0:03 (but like, why do fish eyes do that doe)
Bro just had brain aneurysm
What scares me about some of these is that you don’t know what could possibly be around you. Humans aren’t meant for the sea, so we don’t know everything that could be down there. Just being in this huge open space where you aren’t supposed to be while knowing that there are thing that are bigger, smarter, faster, and stronger than you in this huge open environment is just absolutely horrifying
It's not what you can see that scares you, it's what you can't see that terrifies you. It could always be there but you just can't see them.
1:15 that's a reaper leviathan
I love that you did a subnautica one. I always found the reaper to be the creepiest to me. Even when subnautica below zero came out.
I was going to comment “you fool, you can’t give me thalassophobia, I’ve played Subnautica!” But then I saw the reaper, and honest to god jumped

Half of these are goofy as heck, and yet they all make me want to never even be near the ocean again lol
The Subnautica one really does capture how horrifying a Reaper Leviathan is.
I'm 27 and the amount of childhood anxiety and trauma the swimming pool clip reignited was horrific.
When we are 6 we get taught how to swim at the local pool, we'd go down with school and get taught, a rumour went around that in the deep end of the pool (we weren't allowed that deep it was like 6ft) that sharks live behind the vents and they let them out at night, the rumour developed into that a little girl named Chelsea got ripped to shreds and eaten when they escaped once.
So yeh, that pool animation, brought back levels of dread I forgot I could feel 😬🤣
Damn son🤣😬
@Scarface Fam it was s ary as shit hearing that stuff as a kid pmsl
My fear was that an octopus-like arm would come out of the vents at the bottom of the deep end of pool, grab my ankle, and then would pull me under.
I had that same fear at my local pool but my brain made it up just to mess with me lol
Nah cuz same. Nearly *everyone* I knew just made fun of me or would throw me into the pool to watch me cry and try to escape before the sharks and the octopus could get me.
Kind of love the one giant hand that grabs the diver like “mine” and then just sinks back into the depths.
1:09 nahh bro really pulled the subnautica
The best scenes are when the abyss is so dark, you see your face reflecting off the screen. 😂 ... 😃
someone explains to him that tallossophobia is not fear of sea creatures but of what is inside the sea, for example: you are diving in the sea but you see nothing in front of you, just pitch black and you hear the noise of a whale, that it's already very scary even knowing that the whale is harmless.
This. Being so deep underwater I can't see the surface but not yet seeing the bottom is scary to me.
Wouldn't anyone just naturally fear sea creatures as well? 90% of the ocean has remained unexplored, fucking anything can be down there let alone sharks and whales
I'm shocked! These animations have all been surprisingly accurate nightmare senerios for me... Also, you're fantastic at setting up these scares!
I like to think the octopus/squid at 02:09 wasnt gonna actually hurt the diver and was just investigating them.
Like they reach their arms out really slowly and maybe touch them and hold them, but recognizes the diver as not being its normal food and lets them go afterwards
