    What size clamshells did you use for this necklace? Also, does it matter which type clamshell I use? Closed loop or open? Thank you.

      Great question Sharon. We used 3.5mm-4mm clamshell bead tips. Ours are open loop, but if you can find closed loop, they are a little more secure. Here's the how-to on our blog: runningwithsisters.com/calliope-beaded-necklace/
