4:46 when you said “thats pretty much it” you still have to unplug the other plugs from the crankshaft sensor, throttle body, etc, right?? In order to take out the entire harness? Sorry dumb question
Yes that’s correct I was just removing the harness from the ecu and from the body of the car. I didn’t have to remove it from the engine because I was taking the engine out. But if you’re not removing the engine then yes you’d have to remove the rest of the harness.
I think the red brackets to loosen the connectors to my ecu are broken how else can I disconnect them from my ecu please help I’ve been struggling for days
Hold up I just brought this harness because it connects down to the headlight and abs which I ripped off with my dam wheel but you only show how to disconnect the ecu not the whole wire connect to the other side

I'm opposite...I bought my car with a 05 Revup swap but it's still on the factory 04 de harness..car randomly dies and I'm told I need to swap over to the Revup harness....so I bought a Revup ecu and harness I was told to install it then take the car to the nissan dealership to flash the key to the new ecu...does that sound right?

With the ecu it’s a whole piece going to the passenger to the driver side
This is the engine wiring harness, it’s no part of the headlights only for the engine and ecu

Did u use your DE ecu? Or did u buy a Revup ecu?
The car is an 06 so it came with a rev up ECU. I bought a DE ECU and put that in.

You don’t need to go to the dealership the key will still work you just need to call a lock smith to disable the anti theft on the new ecu
