    Helios 44-2 fungus:
Take between 8 and 10 lenses.
    Remove front and rear element.
Scarpe the fungus into a plastic or metal container.
Add a little garlic and butter.
Heat the fungus on a low heat for ~6 minutes.
Serve with toasted bread on a vintage lens cap.

    Hello!
I know you specialise in Russian lenses, but can you give me an advice on how to clean the rear element group of a Super-multi-coated takumar 50mm f1.4 with a m42 mount? There are no screws on the back. I’ve searched all over the internet for some instructions on how to do this but nobody seams to have tackled this problem until now.

In case it helps, ~25% ammonia is the same as ammonium hydroxide, and is often branded as just 'Ammonia'. Ammonia is usually found in construction and paint stores. You wont mistake it for pure ammonia, which is a gas at room temperature.
