I was in Hokkaido in cherry blossom time. Sapporo was lovely and cold and many parts of Hokkaido still had snow. Totally loved it and love the energy of Sapporo!

Great video, but Sapporo looks like a boring city. Tokyo/Nara/Osaka/Kioto/Fukuoka are much more intresting imo.
No, I can confirm that Sapporo is every bit as amazing a city as those other ones. So much to see and do there, amazing unique food, and best part is how compact Sapporo is, so it's faster to get around than other cities, with a lot more stuff within walking distance. Truly gorgeous too, especially from atop Mt. Moiwa. Can't really judge an entire city by a single walkaround video.
