I genuinely appreciate all of ya'll!!!
I, Malisha Scott, want to give a special shout out to Seg. Patterson (personally)... because he helped me have a better understanding of not just reporting the bad things (like stealing/trespassing)... but also showing my work through how I pay attention to the smallest details of things... I didn't even know I was supposed to write a report on (to begin with) even though I spoke to head management/property management about a certain concern.
    Thank you again, Seg. Patterson

People want relationships and trust - if you give them that, they'll give you the benefit of the doubt more often than not. I wore a single open-driver ear-bud on post often. I never got pushback or a complaint because staff/managers usually perceived quite quickly that I was on their team - that I was professional with customers/staff and vigilant. Pro-tip: my dry-cleaner offers a deep discount on security/first-responder uniform shirts and they added my house to their weekly delivery/pick-up route - so I was always on-post with a freshly cleaned/pressed shirt and it wasn't expensive.
