My eagle scout project was a 12 person hammock farm made out if 12 ft tall telephone poles that were also 18 inches in diameter. This is what i was thinking the entire time. We did have a machine but it couldnt always do it
I mean, a powered post digger would definitely make it easier. It also doesn't help that our soil is clay! Open to suggestions for next time, though, if you have any.
The ground is hard clay, if you have an easier way to get it to work when deeper in the ground please let us know. It was the easiest way, otherwise it barely got any "dirt" out. I can make a video showing what we pulled from the hole, it's rock hard clay.

We don't have dirt, we have CLAY!! 😅
Where I live is hard pan and I wish I had those steel handled Post hole digger's, I never thought of that before thanks!
