    Thank you so much! I am a beginner and have been wanting to learn how to make a doily, but other directions and videos I found were confusing. Your video was so clear to follow! Watching your video, gave me confidence to try it myself, and I was successful!

    Love your style of presenting these techniques. I relate to the slow, calm, “speechless” technique so well.

    Thank you! I’m making these in #3 acrylic with a 4mm hook and ironing them to make them a flat soft placemat. First one turned out great!!! Only 7 more to go. :)

    • @dianneortiz855
      @dianneortiz855 Před 2 lety

      I used a thicker yarn. 5mm. So far it’s looking bigger than the first one I did with a 3 mm.

    I am using thinner yarn and a 2mm hock. Can this method continue until 20 rounds and still be flat? Any body can help? Thank you!

    Does one skein make the entire placement?? Or do you need more than one for each?? Thank you! 🧶❤️

    • @KristinesCrochets
      @KristinesCrochets  Před 2 lety

      One skein is more than enough. 31 grams (100 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.

      I'd like to know this too. I'm going to make it with dk cotton yarn and a 4mm hook so might not need to though.

    Is it normal if it’s crinkly at the end?

    • @KristinesCrochets
      @KristinesCrochets  Před 2 lety +1

      It might be a little crinkly before you block it. I usually press my cotton doilies with the steam iron and gently stretch them into desired shape.
