Loved Holmfirth the second I set foot there and would love to live in it. I find Peter Sallis's grave quite sad really there are no mentions of his son or family just ''actor'' .He doesn't appear to get the same attention as Bill which is also a great shame. I'm visiting Holmfirth in March I'll have to take him some flowers bless him.

Absolutely loved last of the summer wine though I never actually visited Holmfirth I can watch last of the summer wine all day and night as I have every single episode on dvd from the first pilot episode to the very last episode I just find the scenery fantastic and frankly the comedy of about the trio Compo Cleggy and Blamire the original trio and later Walter Foggy Dewhirst and also in latter series Compo Cleggy and Seymour Uttherswhaite and also Herbert Truelove or truly was absolutely brilliant as was all the actors in it to my humble opinion a comedy masterpiece 👍

Whenever I go to Holmfirth or Upperthong for a visit it puts me in a good mood and it's quite therapeutic in a way.

I plan to visit Holmfirth soon and it's good to know it's only a 10 minute walk from Sid's Cafe to Compo and Cleggy's grave - do you have other Last of the Summer wine locations, like Cleggy's house or Wesley's shed?
