I was honoured to meet both of these beautiful men at a celebration for the Last Of The Summer Wine show. Unbelievably wonderful men in their own right. Warm, affectionate and respectful to everyone they met, and I have so many wonderful memories of the short space of time I got to spend with them :-) My love for both of them is eternal, as is the show they helped bring to so many people over the many years they worked together.

You have a wonderful and engaging way of talking which makes listening to your commentary so professional and a pleasure to listen too. I would like to make a valid point here. These two men were very famous, is there hundreds of people there NO, have there graves been damaged NO. So those relatives who think it’s “their” right to stop people from paying their respects by hiding the whereabouts of a grave of a famous person who has died. In my opinion are very selfish. When all people would like to do is say thank you. The relatives need to remember it was the public who gave them the fame and fortune.
Most of the famous actors love the attention so cutting it all off seems wrong.

Both actors from that great age of television. Not saints. There is a natural antagonism between Compo Bill Owen and the likes of Foggy Brian Wilde. I believe in real life both actors did not always see eye to eye. Thats the way things are. But it works well on TV.
