Great conversation, getting to know people and their looks is interesting.

I think a lot of people are afraid of having these conversations because it might open the door for the justification of eugenics or scientific racism.

Just say it vaguely. Humans are african apes . Nothing more or less. People take it better when you're brutal about the reality. We are just african apes like the cimpanzee relative. People dont mind the african part usually but hate the ape part lol idk why but people hate being apes but it os what it is . Apes descend from africa

Edo is a state in Nigeria and not a tribe lol
It's a mixed ethnic state made of the Ishan tribe , bini tribe, etc which should be under the yoruba ethnicity and
    ijaw and igboid ethnicity etc
Notwithstanding ethnicity is a nation of it own , with different tribal , clan , villages, kindreds etc
Meaning that Igbo , Hausa, yoruba, ijaw , efik for example are understood by those tribes in whatever ethnicity you want to choose
But there are various dialect of , the said ethnicity
That's why saying yoruba is a tribe is wrong, it is a nation on its own spanning from Nigeria, to Togo, Benin republic, Ghana etc
    The hausas, the same thing
    The efik spans to Cameroon
