And this is normal by Contra universe standards. In Neo Contra the heroes can run on helicopter blades like on a treadmill, surf on torpedoes or ride velociraptors, all while going gung-ho with their guns.

Fun fact, the snare drum is actually 4-bit because of the way the NES works. It's even more amazing when it's viewed with the fact that it's 4-bit 🤘

В 90х годах когда я играл у своего друга в эту игру музыкальные треки мне казались медленнее. Сейчас когда при прослушивании поставил скорость 0.75 прям ощутил то самое ощущение.. Годные треки, спасибо .
У меня приставка pal, там медленнее играет, и тональность ниже. Для меня тоже на такой скорости непривычно слушать.

25 years ago I first played this game and since then the only game that reminds me of my brothers and friends where we were kids. 100% nostalgia! Also, I bought a Nintendo with usb just to play this game last year, definitely needs to be remade with the latest technology!
What they could do back then with 8-bit devices, Justine Bieber and others can't do today even with infinite precision digital-to-analog converters.

The drums sound more Jamaican than in the other Contra games and the Orchestra Hits sound more cartoony than Super C as well. This soundtrack is pretty fun as hell as with most Konami soundtracks.

Goodness, I can't decide whether stage 1 (Warehouse) or stage 3 (Mati Building) is a glorier tune!
For me, stage 1 is better than 3 as a whole, but a small part of melody in stage 3 is the best at the top!
