LEARN MORE ABOUT THE PETERSEN AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Gives me goosebumps.. my dad had this car when I was growing up. Simply awesome. Spacious, and elegant. I learned to drive in it. It had the shift lever near the steering wheel.. great times..
What a gem, what a story. I'm glad they didn't send it back. Looking forward in the future to it's restoration!
I see strong hints of the Peugeot 504 in the design.
Same here. So much Peugeot in so many different places on the car. It really is a Pininfarina design through and through.
I remember the Cedric’s here in Australia growing up in the 70’s-80’s
This channel continues to entertain and inform. Love these “obscure “ and interesting cars. Thank you Petersen!
Thanks so much for sharing this! Saw the car in the shop during yesterday's Vault tour and wondered about it.
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous car, sort of a lightweight Benz? And with the '60s and its zenith of stylish big American cars, I'd say this Euro-look sedan was ahead of its time by about a decade, the '70s and its embrace of the Mercedes-Benz and such.
These were sold new in Australia as Datsun Cedric’s. As a child I remember seeing one and being fascinated by an electric radio antenna on one of the rear side panels🤣
the 130 Cedrics (and the 31 series) were sold new in the Canadian market from 63-1969 in both 4 door and wagon. I own 3 64-65 g31 sedans, have parts for a 31 series wagon, and know were a 66 130 sedan survives in running condition. a 130 series wagon made a calendar appearance 20 years ago in Ontario canada, and it also showed up at a Mt Shasta Datsun meet one year.
there's a canadian market 130 wagon in Spokane as well.
Nice. Didn´t know about those two 130 Cedrics in the US.
Love hearing about these sleeper stories. Thank you also for giving two of your vehicles to display at the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Bugatti EB110 and the Jaguar XJ220. Finally able to see my heroes in the metal!
実に素晴らしい!
I like this museum
迫力満点!
Initial impression is that it reminds me of a sixties Volvo.
And of course who can forget it's role in the film The Big Steal.
Aww man, I wanted to see the engine
此れが、1965年製日産セドリックカスタム6か!此れはまるで、アメ車&外車みたい!然し乍ら同車は、130型前期モデルで、ピニンファリーナが自らデザインした最高級乗用車でした!
See a bit of Peugeot in there?
Nice, but it does appear to look a lot like a 1965 Rambler American...
Xacly!
I know where the other one is
You need to stop calling these "Deep Dives". You never raise the hood or the trunk lid, and you barely show the interior. Shameful.
Neat car.....horrible name.
It meant "imbued with power and freedom".
