Milk Cow vs. Milk Goat: Which is best for your small farm?

We have both dairy goats and milk cows at our farm. They each come with a lot of positives and some negatives. Here is my take on why you might, or might not want, to bring one of these critters to your farm.

This is a wonderful and thorough comparison! I would add that with goats, fine tuning your genetics is another management issue because you need to attract buyers for your kids. I agree, goats are more high maintenance than most people realize!
