    Kanté the man yet again. He dictated everything, made the Madrid midfield and defense look like championship level, and had stamina and work rate so high he could probably soar to the stratosphere. Jorginho is definitely the director in the Chelsea team. Tuchel is blessed to have orchestrators at every position. Thiago and Azpi organizing the defense, Jorgi organizing the midfield (and sometimes the entire team) and Mount leading the press (he is often pointing to where our forwards should be when pressing). I think that's why Tuchel speaks so highly of the team. So many natural leaders out there.

    Rudigar was stellar....he was so direct, fast, powerful, getting the ball out of Chelsea's zone and so calm under pressure. Also his good shot on target set the tone early as prior to that shot, Chelsea looked nervous, not particularly threatening. After that shot, they looked far looser.

      Havertz is so young he doesn't know how good he is. The only critique I'd have of him is he doesn't used his frame enough to win the ball, almost as if it's been too easy for him coming up to just boss around and now he doesn't have enough fight in him to really boss at this level. The way he just stands there when contesting a ball in the air, he did it several times as if he was just expecting to win it. I'd like to see him fight more, he should take some notes from Ziyech who has had a bit longer to adapt to EPL and is showing more fight these days.

    As Pep said, "Chelsea are going to be our closest competitors next season." It's a statement that I wholeheartedly agree with. I fully expect Man city, chelsea and man utd to dominate next season. I can only dream for my club to be serious club with an acceptable ambition that matches our historical status. We had the fitter players and the better game plan, Chelsea have played with wide CBs in a back 3 for almost 4 months now. I don't watch Real Madrid in La Liga except for the big games but they certainly looked like they weren't used to playing that way and only did it to match Chelsea but it didn't work at all. Could've easily won 4-0 at home and 2-1 away and I'm only counting BIG chances here. The best 2 teams are in the CL final and damnit, I can't wait, we get a preview on Saturday, I'm so fucking happy

    Real's dependency on their technical midfield has become their weakness. Maybe starting Valverde instead of Nacho as a cover CB could have helped them. Or even having Varane, could have freed up Ramos to drive the ball forward instead of depending on Nacho and Militao.

    • @aakashdeep2298
      @aakashdeep2298 Pƙed 3 lety

      Well Ramos, Mendy, Varane were all unfit really and Kroos & Modric had already been told by medical staff after Liverpool 2nd leg that they can't play anymore coz of fatigue. Even Valverde wasn't really fit for the match otherwise he would've started as RWB over Vinicius. Ramos & Mendy are already out of next league match. Real's mid is fine, Fede is already replacing Modric, it's the attack that needs tending to, it's honestly a one man attack, you shut Benzema down, that's it. A back 3 system didn't help either, Kroos likes to drop to form a back 3 and if he doesn't get his space RM can't move the ball, that's why RM had possession but could do nothing with it.

Kroos & Modric are playing games every 3 days and were told to stop playing after 2nd leg Liverpool coz of fatigue but Zidane is forced to play them coz there's no other CM available, Blanco has played 2 games since then.
