  • Sell Off (2005): Deep in the jungles of South America, the culture of escaped slaves has been preserved for over three centuries. But their unique heritage is now being threatened by developers.
For downloads and more information visit www.journeyman.tv/18426/short-...
The former Dutch colony of Suriname is home to the largest undisturbed expanse of tropical rainforest and the highest number of ethnic groups in the world. "You have the indigenous people, the bushnegroe cultures. It's a unique and wonderful mix that is not found anywhere else," explains Russel Mittermeier from Conservation International But with 70% of the population living below the poverty line, the government is considering selling forest land to developers. "Our government has put our forest out for sale," laments resident Cornelly Olivera. But indigenous people see themselves as the legal owners of the forests and are determined to fight all developments.

@@proverbalizer thank you, muuroons today are a lost nation due to being inundated by colonization and from curriculum programing of the colonial education systems and institutions that they left behind. While I can only speak for muuroons of Guyana, ( Essiquibo, Berbice and Demerara ) which were previously under Dutch and British colonial conquest I would certainly wish to extend our invitation to you our muuroon brethren of Suriname and French Paramaribo. It is unfortunate that we in Guiana has lost our muuroon native tongue due to the brutal genocide of colonial war on our ancestors but we should not let language seperate us muuroons by wherever we are on ancestral lands but it should endeavor to unite us more than ever today as Guiana muuroons seek to become a nation United under one God.

    Bottomline, prophecy FULFILLED.
In case u might wonder WHO put us in slavery in the 1st place for being DISOBEDIENT to YHWH's Law,
Deut. 28:68 And YHWH shall bring thee into Egypt again WITH SHIPS, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
Israel would go back into SLAVERY, but this time with SHIPS, to be SOLD AS SLAVES & no1 would be able to free (buy) us
