I've Used Over 200 iPhone 15/iPhone 15 Pro Cases - These Are My Top Picks

- Apple does make my job easier. Why? Because the shape of the iPhone hasn't really changed in the last 4 years. So case manufacturers don't really need to come up with anything new!
If you're on the fence about getting a case, in my limited drop tests, my iPhone 15 Pro broke quicker than my iPhone 14 Pro (10 drops vs. 25 drops) so a case is still needed if you're worried about breaking your iPhone.

Sorry Casetify I’m not giving money to a company that commits intellectual fraud and plagiarism
Even though I only watch your videos when I’m getting a new phone or looking to change an accessory every couple of years, you’re my go to reviewer. You put in so much time and thought in your videos, I can’t overstate the value you bring when it comes to helping make a purchase decision in the vast market of phone accessories. All your work is immensely appreciated!
What’s the point of donating to someone who obviously is already rich 😂😂
@@jacobgrisson2695🥴 It’s called gratitude. And what makes you think he’s rich 🤨

Great video as always. For me, I’ve been using Rebel for my SE2 since the beginning and love the feel of exposed side. As I am used to the actual iPhone width, having other case is added bulk to the phone so it’s gonna be harder to transition to. May be the exposed side might be beneficial to release heat from the phone when heats up. Idk how other cases do and maybe that’s just a little to no impact after all?
I’ve been using the Mous case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max - still amazing! Highly recommend the brand.
Just received the Mous limitless 5.0 for iPhone 15 pro max. I have decided to return mine because of its sharp edges at the back of the case. It does not feel comfortable at all to hold in your hands. Although it is a rugged case and I definitely feel like it will protect your phone well, I prefer the comfortability when holding in hand more than any. Going back to my apple silicon case which feels amazing.
Thanks! - Got the Mous case but wanted it faster so went through Amazon. Wanted to make sure you got something for the recommendation!
Dude, every year you definitely help people quite a lot to choose what is the best for their phones. Thanks a lot, and keep going with the good work!
Seriously the only person who actually tests accessories for usability rather than specs and promotions. Thanks a ton dude!
I was one of the original users of Catalyst back in the day with my iPhone 4s, good to see they're still around. Used to use that case when I worked for my dad's landscaping business as a college student in between my other part-time job. Not exactly the prettiest cases, but pretty enough for something that is functional in protecting your phone from the elements.
How’s the grip on catalyst cases
I used both a Speck and a Mod NX for my iPhone XR. Both were good, but the Mod NX with the backplate added showed a lot of dust/debris getting into the cutout for the camera. I currently use an iPhone 13 with Apple's now-discontinued leather case.
I bought the Mous case, mostly based on this well-produced review. It's attractive, well-built, and highly protective. I will add, though, that the thickness and complete coverage of the beautiful titanium completely took away all the magic of holding the new phone in my hand. It want from sleek and cool to bulky and a bit "old stereo cabinet". I'll use it for a while and see how it lasts with mag safe contact, then someday I may drop to something clear and hopefully thinner.
Same for me
Hey just so you guys know, Mous has a lot of options. you can get clear cases (they also have the best clear cases) and some of the thinnest cases I’ve ever used, even thinner than the apple cases. all that, I’ve found those thin cases end up protecting the phone much better then I would have thought it would. Mous has a lot of options depending on what you want out of it.
@@zeyroxindeed7996I would have disagree casetify offers the best clear cases with an amazing grip
This review for me definitely shows how personal cases can be, and the subjective nature of "perks". I've had a couple of Mous limitless cases now for various recent iphones and they've all either been replaced because the back material has worn through in a matter of weeks or months, or theyve ended up a drawer because they're so much bulkier around the phone so they feel massive in your pocket. I only found the rear material grippy, which made it awkward to pull out of jeans pockets, but the edges no more grippy than any other case.
Each time the backing looked worn Mous has sent me one for free.
@@brittneyb4721 Isn't that part of the problem, we've both had the backing worn through and they've had to replace them. I've had 3-4x as many Apple leather or Silicone cases and never had as much wear as the Mous cases show
Any preference between the Aramid Fibre and Walnut on the Mouse cases? Any difference in terms of feel/grip or is it just an aesthetic difference?
Love your videos! Been following your advice on cases for a few years, always on point, no regrets! ❤
I got the Torras Guardian case with the kick stand for my iPhone 15 Pro. I fiddle a lot so the kickstand will be a fiddler for me. And the kickstand is magnetic so you can stick it to metal surfaces. I do wish it was a little bit more translucent on the back, but I do like the frosted look and that it still shows your iPhone color through.
I love the rebel cases. Glad they grew on you!
Amazing reviews! Is the Otterbox case slippy on the edges as well as the back? I made the mistake of getting the Apple Finewoven case which is so slippery to hold because the sides have no grip on them. I like the idea of the Otterbox case, but if it kind of feels the same as the Finewoven on the sides then I'll give it a miss 🤔
Great video as always! Btw do you think you can go over sapphire screen protectors like the Benks ultraglass and Hoda? They are quite a bit cheaper than Shellrus so I’m interested to see if they’re as scratch resistant as Shellrus
I would like to see that too
Can you revisit Spigen this year?
I found myself with one of there cases for the first time ever, and really like this one for my new 15 pro. The magnets got stronger, it doesn’t flex while on the phone (like the one you showed), and it just feels really solid in the hand
Im a bit amazed that you have Phone Rebel in your lineup since I don’t see anyone else talking about them. Ive been using the carbon fiber Flex from rebel and its amazing! I call it a naked case since the sides are exposed so you still feel the sides of the phone and its so minimal you forget it has a case mostly. I dropped my phone on concrete a few times and my phone is still flawless. I’ll definitely be getting another one for my 15 Pro max when they come out soon. If i end up not able to sell my case maybe I’ll send it to you to check out.
Thank you Aaron and Monty.
How would you rate the Clarity clear case from Mous compared to the Limitless 5.0?
Would love to see actual measurements of the magnetic strength and how well (how fast) the case supports wireless charging.
I've never subscribed this quickly to any CZcamsr. Well done! Your content is informative and provides straightforward, no-nonsense information.
Hi. Amazing video. Love your impartiality. One doubt: is the Mous Limitless 5.0 in Aramid Fibre your personal choice or is it another?
Had the casetify bounce for a year now, it’s definitely a top tier case. No cracks or damage to my 14 pro!
thanks for the review! im still thinking about if i should use a case since i like the phone better without it, but seeing droptests etc I'm really going to need one.
I wish this video dropped earlier cause I definitely just spent $80 on a case that isn’t even on this top 10 and I am now stressed.
Which one?
Simply because your needs may not align with theirs.
It was the Zagg Denali snap. I only got it because I heard it was good with MagSafe. Like the magnet is strong but mous was my second option. I usually come here to get the best case and screen protector possible. I ordered the flolab one just off his recommendation alone.
fun fact: here in Canada, being stressed is a good reason to get approved for government assistance in suicide!
@@infamouse9149 I know lol
Great video Aaron I had a couple of questions will you be doing separate case reviews of these cases? I noticed the new rebel cases for the iPhone 15 pro look different from last years was just wondering if you would do a review of all the versions of the new rebel cases? I presume you will be doing that I know you have done separate videos on separate cases. That will unfortunately be a chunk of change though. It looks like the rebel for the iPhone 15 might be there best versions. Also speck has a new version of presidio grip for iPhone 15 pro they have added something called clicklock looks like speck is trying to get into the different attachment accessories just was wondering if you would be picking up the new iPhone 15 cases for speck?
I love Mous cases. Have two of the Mous limitless 5.0 cases for my 14 PM and if/when I upgrade to the 15 PM I will get the same cases. They are just really good cases. So comfortable to use. I always buy a few others to test, but end up using the Mous case every day.
Mous and dbrand have been my favorites for a few years.
Really appreciate your work! You’re like the only reviewer who I fully trust with product reviews as you’re not influenced by sponsors. You also cover a LOT of products but do so in a clear and concise way. Keep it up man!
yes my thought exactly; a lot of reviewers simply rank based on what companies pay the most. kinda sad but glad we have Aaron to trust and rely on for quality reviews

@@dannyfpv123 Monte is the BEST :)
Hello I love your reviews for cases and accessories. I was wondering on your opinions for dedicated bumper cases like the rhinoshield mod nx. I had the rhinoshield for my 11P and it worked well for my purposes so I was just wondering if its the 'go to' bumper option again for my 15PM or try something new.
Hey hey. I bought the Mous based on your recco and couldn't be happier. It's so solid and grippy. I love it. Thank you.
I always appreciate your videos when needed man, thank you! and especially for how transparent you are!
Nice video! Great to see the Caudabe Sheath. My go to case for years now.
Love this channel to bits, so happy I found you!
Honest feedback - great channel, love the no sponsorship and transparency for affiliate links. I really do think you should discuss pricing though. I looked at some of these cases and the prices vary a ton which is not discussed in your review.
Lamicall Magnetic Case for iPhone 15 Plus is the best case I’ve ever used. Great grip all the way around the entire case, frosted back, lovely matte finish, ridiculously strong MagSafe magnet on the back, firm with very little give at all, and perfect lip protection on the screen and camera. And it only cost me like £14. Amazing case.
Fanstatic video as always ! Thank you and keep up the great work!
All these cases are great recommendations, and they offer a wide variety of choices to suit different preferences and needs.
You rock my friend, thank you for your help and time. I'll def be using your links!
I love the caudabe sheath. Using it for my iphone 13 pro max. But recently it is interfeering with my hoda screen protector. Any suggestion for good screen protector that will allow me to still use caudabe?
Question: The wood finish of the Mous 5.0 is your favourite? Why?
Curious! I got the leather one:)
I’m not a dog person, but this dog I would trade my cat in for with that tie and collar. Love that little guy 🤙🏾
Do all of these work with the USB with the case on?Or do you need to remove the case to get a good connection?
For those cases with MagSafe, how strong are the magnets?
It took me awhile to find one that's stronger than Apple's. My Apple MagSafe battery pack barely moves when attached to my 13 mini in my pocket.
Just wanted to say I got the mous case yesterday based off your previous review and love it! thanks
Awesome video, by the way, the iPhone that's being shown in the cases in this video, is that the natural titanium color?
Love your reviews. Thanks so much. Is the Casetify Impact (the ones without the corner bumpers) in your top 10 and what rank would they be? From your previous videos, I understand that several Casetify case models would make it to your top 10, but you'll only rank one to avoid redundancy. I'm thinking of getting the impact (less bulk) and would be curious if it would also be in your top 10. Thanks.
I have a few casetify cases looks like they got rid of the ultra impact which was a great case I have an impact case and it’s is there slimmest case also there least protective case. So as long as you are ok with that. I think the impact case has 4-6 feet drop protection. There amazing cases I love them there MagSafe magnet is very strong in my opinion. The quality you get with a casetify case will outlast the life of your phone. The only problem that I have is the case takes a long time to get delivered I try to allow about a month sometimes I get them in three weeks they ship right from China. But if you are not in a rush I think they are amazing cases. Just my two cents
Hi Aaron, wondering if you had a chance to include the Spigen Magnetic Ultra Hybrid S MagFit in your round-up? Just received it and surprised with it’s initial quality (sans the internal circles on the buttons)
Yes!!! I got the mod nx ahead of time and it made the list! Yes, I have noticed the improvement in the finish, and it feels better in hand. Also love the customizability still being able to use a clear MagSafe back or just the bumper, as well as swap out the buttons! Still, my favorite MagSafe case of all of these because, you can see the full color of the phone! And it pairs absolutely amazingly with my Popwallet!
When you make your Casetify video, please mention your thoughts on if the quality matches the price. Their cases are insanely expensive and don’t seem worth it.
Your videos are always helpful. Thankd
Is the magnet strong on the Mous case? I've been wanting to pick one up, and I always use the Razer phone cooler. That little thing works best with slimmer case. Thanks
I got a rhino shield for my current iPhone but the bumber seemed to get very loose rather quickly had to stop using it.
I know mous is your number one is that the same for the mous clear MagSafe any idea on scratch resistance
One question I have is did you have any issues with the Limitless 5 getting warped by the volume buttons? I confirmed it’s a known issue.
Really shocked to see the speck grip so high on the list. Mine came in yesterday and immediately dismissed it since the case was so slippery. Did the rebel case come out for the 15? Watched EAP video yesterday and he said they would come out at the end of September. Looking forward to the tweaks in the case this year. The smartish case still has some of the best grip I've used on the 15 so far. Trying that, the ghosttek covert and the benks aramid fiber so far.
Great case review! Just to clarify, however, that the @catalystcases Influence case actually still has a rotating mute switch for the non Pro model devices, because those still have the physical mute switch. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max however replaced the mute switch with a programmable Action Button, so the rotating dial no longer makes sense on the cases for the new Pro model phones.
I love your enthusiasm, you are a very respectable person for the great work.. subscribed and liked
Just found your channel a few days ago and it’s so much more useful & got better jokes than most others in this space, dope job kudos! One request - when you say you’ve tested over 200 cases here for example, could you add a list of all of those cases in the description? Because I did some research of my own and I’ve no clue if you considered my top contenders in your ranking (Pitaka MagEZ Pro 4, Mujjo Shield and a Benks MagClap Nova Hybrid, granted the Mujjo is experiencing some production issues atm and that Benks model isn’t even out yet, but it’d still be helpful to know your full list)
I bought the Caudabe Sheath case because of your recommendation, because I want a thin case for my 15 pro max. Great video, keep going!
I love my pop socket wallet, it really stays on my current iPhone silicon case. Of these cases, which one do you think will hold onto the pop socket wallet the best?
I have a mous case for my 12 pro and I haven’t really liked it. I have never liked how the buttons felt or the way you change the silence switch having to dig into the case. It’s also pretty slippery. Has any of this been changed in these newer models?
Been getting Mous since the iPhone X. Just can't go wrong with their stuff. Thanks for the vid!
Have you tried the new Rhinoshield Solidsuit? I had one for the 14 Pro but the material was very flexible and bad, it came out too easily. Is it the same for 15 version?
Fun to view and on point honest information.
Many thanks ✌️👍
Thank you Aaron. So glad I followed your earlier advice and got a Mous. It’ll arrive in 8 days. I was kinda hoping it would be your number 1 and confirm my decision.
Hey for the mouse 5.0 how is the MagSafe does it seem to slip or is it strong enough for a grip
I found Mous because of this channel. Every single iPhone in my family has a Mous case. I've also converted all of my friends. 🤣 I wish you got commission. Easily sold 40+ cases over the years.
Great review, have you ever tried the Benks, particularly the Armor Pro series. Looks just like the Mous but half the price.
love Mous cases. I didnt really like them at first because they were kinda thick, but the newer ones are great!
Should do a review of screen protectors next!
Thanks! I’ve owned so many in this line up, great line up btw! I’ll probably pull the trigger on the new mous, I had the paint splatter back and it was a love/hate situationship.
Can you try to review the new D Brand clear case? It’s called d brand ghost,
Thanks again!
This is literally the best iPhone accessory review channel, ever. Keep up the good work Aaron!
I’ve been waiting for this video! Keep the bangers coming!
Do you have a good alternative for the discontinued Apple leather cases?
Is there an iPhone 15 Pro Max case with floating buttons (preferably including the new action button) that you would recommend for use specifically with the PopGrip Slide Stretch? Doesn't have to be super military grade or anything, but I'd prefer raised edges at least for protecting the glass in case of a potential drop. With materials, I'm looking for something soft-ish, but possibly silicone? Like not the slippery, plasticy kind, but the one that feels like non-shiny matte? If that makes sense lol. I have a very specific case I've been using for my old 12 Pro Max that I always go back to, that was from an Etsy seller/non official product, and they don't support the 15PM just yet. I'm trying to shop around so I have something to hold me over before my phone arrives. 🥰 Love these in-depth reviews you do! Thank you in advance if you find the time to help with this (I know you're probably very busy 🙏🏻 But I'd totally use your link to purchase with if you helped!). Hope you're having a great day today!! ❤
Bought the Mous after watching this review (thank you) and the company’s videos. I have to say, it is an amazing case and exactly what I was looking for. I got the Apple FineWoven with my phone and liked it but after 5 days decided it didn’t offer enough protection. This Mous case is far better.
For the speck Presidio2 Grip case, is the action button suppose to be so hard to press? Not hearing or feeling a click sound with my case
I have a otter box MagSafe case looks clean and has protected against the first very nerve racking drop ! Hope you guys enjoy your new phones
Do you have a review of the best clear cases for the 15?
Have you used any Torras cases and if so have you liked them? I've been using one since I got my 14 Pro and 2 friends liked it so much they got Torras cases for their 13 and 11.
Ive heard people complaining about mous cases, saying the magnets arent as strong with the case on. Thoughts?
Love your content and how honest it is. Just curious your favorite case with a clear back for the 15 Pro Max? I want to be able to see my iPhone’s color while also being able to use MagSafe and maximum protection.
Dbrand Ghost case, also no-yellowing guaranteee.
I would recommend casetify they are expensive but amazing cases I will get one for my new iPhone 15 pro in white most definitely
I’ve been watching your reviews for the last few years as I’ve gotten new phones and always trust your reviews to help me select a case. Thanks for all your hard work. And yes I clicked your link to order my ottergrip 🤗
would you pick the Mous Clairty 2.0 for a clear case?
Hi friend! I’d like to know about the colour of the Rhino Mod Nx that you have in the iPhone 15 green, is that one just white? Is it the grey one? I have the same iPhone in green and I think it looks amazing in the video, so I’d like to buy it, can you tell me which one is it exactly?? Thanks a lot and congrats for the video!
well done, nice pace and content 😊
Hey Aaron! I love your videos dude. But correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t see a casetify ultra impact for the iPhone 15 Pro max, would be it the iPhone 14 versions that are compatible? Also, review the Dbrand ghost case! It looks so good, I want to see how you’d rate it! Keep up the amazing work my guy.
Have you used the arc pulse? Curious what your take is on that one
I’ve owned a Casetify Ultra MagSafe for a year or so and I could never recommend with its really weak magnets. I also think they’re a little expensive for what you get compared to many other cases. I really wish Aaron would test the MagSafe strength for each case and keep that on file it would be such a helpful thing.
I've had the casetify impact case and after about a year, the back of the case completely separated from the part of the case that surrounds the outline of the phone. it also looks like they reused the design from the previous generation's case because it makes no sense that there would be an open gap on the action BUTTON as if it's still a switch. gonna look into mous this year
Seconded @philosophictv1770 - it’s a STRONG as fuck magnet
So they must have upped the magnet strength then which is a good thing. The strongest magnets I’ve been able to test so far are the new iPhone 15 RhinoShield cases… they kind of set the standard.
@@kotatsue yes! It’s amazing
@@countyboy2874 yeah, they are really strong, it’s the same with the 13 pro cases
The Only problem I’ve had with a mous case is the protective piece by the top speaker. On phone calls it tends to cause irritation or discomfort on your ear.
I got the new magbak case and wallet but I’m hating how slippery feeling it has. The wallet sticks on powerfully on the other hand and holds more cards which I was craving. Thx for the reviews!
I love my magbak case better then the Apple silicone in my opinion but I have 12 pro max and it has a great grip I was going to buy a new one for my iPhone 15 but now I’m worried it’s not going to feel grippy I have no idea why they have done that I will reach out to them before I order a new one
Awesome reviews! Any Discount code for the caudabe?
Amazing (as always) review. Also: I need to know what these glasses you’re wearing!
So, the walnut finish on the limitless 5.0 may show the magsafe wear and tear more (since its glossy) than the black fiber finish?
Are there any cases that are mag safe that also have a slide cover for the cameras? My S21 camera is pristine after all this time because of that and I want to do the same for iPhone
How about a link to that stand you showed when reviewing the Otterbox?
Did you ever try the humixx sliding camera cover case for the iPhone 15 pro? I think the sliding camera is great. Would love to see a review
You do an amazing job putting these videos together. I like how quick you go to the point on these videos. With a busy schedule, I don’t have a lot of time to watch long abs slow videos. I have been ordering a few items from your links already. Please keep doing what you are doing.
Great review video, I’ve been a huge fan of mous cases because they’re so good just confirmed to not switch from my go to company I remember years ago it would take a 7-10 days for me to get a case from them now it’s on Amazon
